All Vista versions come with the games... they may however not be configured to show up.

Go to your control panel and then Add/remove programs
then select Add Windows Components and you should be able to select and add the games. You likely won't even need the Windows Disk. ;)

Download latest fixed version of Vista Games beta and RTM ported to Windows Xp and Server 2003 completely (4shared directory link): Original Vista Freecell, Mahjong/Shanghai, Solitaire, Spider Solitaire, Hearts, Purble Place, Mineweesper, Inkball + original Vista Ultimate Texas Hold’em for Xp + Latest Brutal Chess (Best alternative for Chess Titan on Xp)+ original Vista Inkball SP1 for Xp (required Alky) + Tablet PC 2005 Inkball for Xp (nearly similar with Vista version, not required Alky) Window Journal Viewer (as prerequisite for Inkball can be downloaded without WGA/Windows Genuine Advantage validation here)-> Usually not required if you already have Office Suite/Onenote 2003/2007 though + Latest Alky for Vista Applications and Games on Xp/2003 (i have removed ugly “Oct 4 2005 from the title bar of some of these Vista games too!, “fixed” binary info from Oberon to MS etc) some GUI etc:

Hi, I haven't even reached the part where I try to install yet...I'm having trouble because Shanghai won't accept the password. I will try an alternate download, but that really ****s because we have a slow internet connection. Any other ideas? Anyone else have trouble with that?

Disregard that last post...I didn't realize it was in the first download. Just in case anyone else has trouble, the Shanghai file didn't work for me in the second download. Everything else works great though so far!!! Thank you very much...these are waaayyyyyy better than the XP versions. I love being able to undo as much as I want, save games, and even start over whenever I want. It's a blast!

Meeehhhhh....Minesweeper only ran once and won't run again!! And that's the one I wanted most!! Now it just makes that system error sound, but nothing comes up on the screen. Help, please please please!!

I'm still having the Minesweeper problem, on two different computers! And I can't get Shanghai to extract at all on the second computer.
