Vista Original Sidebar in to Xp
This app is to install the ORIGINAL VISTA SIDEBAR not a clone into windows Xp !

If you dont like vista but like the side bar with add on gadgets (you can add
any new ones from microshites web site Wink then this is for you.

READ THE INSTALL .TXT TO THE LETTER !!!!!! Then

To add extra gadgets just download them from microshite.
Go into c:/programs/windows sidebar/gadgets
and create a new folder with the same name as the gadget you wish to add.
Unzip the gadget file you downloaded from microshite into your newly created
folder.

but i can unzip gadget from microsoft because file is ***.gadget so can see all gadget i had unzip,,
please pm me step by step to add a new gadget,,,

This is not Real Windows Sidebar .
I recommended you to use this link
but it is not the real sidebar.
You want real windows sidebar here
but have many step .
Easy just some things from the link.
Then extract inside .
And following the step.
but real sidebar have something cannot install gadgets.
the Vista Rainbar cannot install gadgets .
I am all way you install Vista it you want the things

There is another one of the same software on this website elsewhere that contain two (2) *.exe files i.e. sidebar.exe (dark) and sidebar_clear.exe (Clear), but the install instructions is absolutely unclear and I could not get the Gadgets to load into the Sidebar although I struggled for several minutes to try to get it working without any success. feel

[b]I downloaded this software and it is the same as the previous software with the same crap "installer" files. The batch files *.cmd does NOT install anything on my Windows XP computer and it does NOT ask for any SERIAL during the "installation". I only get this thing to load the Sidebar NOT the Gadgets at all and I followed the "instructions" to the point. Nothing gets installed ! The *.cmd files when executed nag about XCOPY and a wealth of other files it does NOT find.[/b]
