The story tells the investigation started by symbolist Robert Langdon and a good-looking cryptologist, Sophie Neveu, around the murder of a Museum Louvre's curator. In fact, the unfortunate murdered man was Sophie's grandfather, and the corpse was found with a series of symbols and codes, like a pentagram and a Fibonacci number sequence. But police detective Fache will begin to chase Langdon, who escapes after receiving a warning about the captain's real intentions. Sophie has with her a kind of key with dots and number 24 engraved on it, which opens to her and Langdon a big complex investigation that involves a supposedly heretic theory: Jesus Christ and Mary Magdalene were, in fact, a couple who produced a daughter named Sara. A millenarian sect called The Priory of Sion has kept for centuries the secret of that matter. A masochist and kind of psychopath albino monk, Sibilas, an Opus Dei member, will chase Langdon and Sophie as well, in order to impede that they solve the mystery of Christ and Mary Magdalene, and also the real meaning and location of the Holy Grail. A passionate British researcher, will help Langdon in his quest, revealing to them several symbolisms in Da Vinci's master work The Last Supper, traveling to mythical places in the UK, such as The Church Temple, where it is believed that a group of Templars Knights are buried, and Sir Isaac Newton's tomb at Westminster Abbey, where are located some of the main keys to solve the Holy Grail's mystery |

Corel® DVD Copy 6 Plus makes copying DVDs and converting video easy. Enjoy full disc copying features, and convert video in three simple steps for sharing by email, on the Web, iPod®, iPhone™, PSP®, Zune™, mobile phones or portable media players. Easy, fast and reliable, DVD Copy 6 lets you take your video where you want to go. DVD Copy 6 Plus now supports DivX Ultra, Xvid, H.264 HD and MPEG2 HD as well as AVCHD and HDV, including direct import from the latest AVCHD camcorders. Corel proves that it's not happy to let new tech pass it by without a robust update to DVD Copy. The app has two primary functions: It can copy video files from one source to another, and it can convert files. It can also convert and then copy. DVD Copy 6 supports converting to and from DVD, locally stored files, AVCHD, iPod, PSP, iPhone, cell phone, Nintendo DS and Gameboy, Zune, VCDs, and DivX formats. In our testing, which included an iPod, a DVD, a YouTube video, and several AVI and MPEG videos, we encountered no problems copying and converting from source to destination. The DVD copy function worked a bit slower, but our burner was ripping at 16x, so burner speed has a lot to do with it. The interface is slick, with Task Buttons in the upper left, a preview pane below them, and Output, Source and Destination options in the center. There also a familiar layout for content being copied or converted and a Progress bar below that. The Help menu was excellent for newbies, though advanced users might find the documentation a bit lacking. Easy enough for beginners to get their feet wet, yet filled with features that should appeal to those familiar with file conversion, Corel DVD Copy 6 is an excellent program for meeting video converting and copying needs. CopyLater is also included - that lets users schedule uninterrupted batch conversion of videos when they are away from the PC or overnight and an "Intelligent Folder Monitoring" tool. Also included as a "bonus" application is WinDVD 8 Silver, the Virtual Drive Tool and Disc Label with LightScribe support. |

Sequel to "The Godfather", this describes the ending of Michael Corleone's exile in Sicily, his search for Salvatore Giuliano and his troubles, as he confronts brutal and unfamiliar treacheries in the deceitful society within which he moves. After Mario Puzo wrote his internationally acclaimed The Godfather, he has often been imitated but never equaled. Puzo's classic novel, The Sicilian, stands as a cornerstone of his work--a lushly romantic, unforgettable tale of bloodshed, justice, and treachery. . . . The year is 1950. Michael Corleone is nearing the end of his exile in Sicily. The Godfather has commanded Michael to bring a young Sicilian bandit named Salvatore Guiliano back with him to America. But Guiliano is a man entwined in a bloody web of violence and vendettas. In Sicily, Guiliano is a modern day Robin Hood who has defied corruption--and defied the Cosa Nostra. Now, in the land of mist-shrouded mountains and ancient ruins, Michael Corleone's fate is entwined with the dangerous legend of Salvatore Guiliano: warrior, lover, and the ultimate Siciliano. |

The Godfather is a crime novel written by American author Mario Puzo, originally published in 1969 by G. P. Putnam's Sons. It details the story of a fictitious Sicilian Mafia family based in New York City (and Long Beach, NY) and headed by Don Vito Corleone, who became synonymous with the Italian Mafia. The novel covers the years 1945 to 1955, and also provides the backstory of Vito Corleone from early childhood to adulthood. The book introduced Italian criminal terms like consiglieri, caporegime, Cosa Nostra, and omertà to an English-speaking audience. It formed the basis for a 1972 film of the same name and its 1974 sequel, which are widely considered to be two of the greatest films of all time.
