Ride the Lightning is the second album by American thrash metal band Metallica, released on July 27, 1984 by Megaforce Records and re-released by Elektra Records on November 19, 1984. It has sold over 5 million copies in the U.S. alone. Ride the Lightning is often hailed by fans as a classic of the thrash metal genre, and a vital bridge between the band's albums Kill 'Em All and Master of Puppets, pushing the thrash metal of the debut into progressive territory more fully-realized on Master of Puppets and ... And Justice for All. Ride the Lightning retains the speed of Kill 'Em All on songs like "Trapped Under Ice" and "Fight Fire with Fire", but also contains the first of Metallica's longer, more symphonically arranged tracks, such as "Fade to Black" and the nearly 9-minute closing instrumental "The Call of Ktulu". Ride the Lightning was listed at #3 on a list compiled by metal-rules.com of the Top 100 Metal Albums of All Time and #5 by IGN Music on the Top 25 Metal Albums. The album included melody, maturity and musical intelligence. It was these traits which helped them broaden metal's scope. |

“Good to be bad” is the band’s eleventh studio release, and the first release to carry the Whitesnake insignia, in many years. “Into the light”, David Coverdale’s third solo album, that precedes this one as the latest studio effort, if one discards the 4 songs that were included in the recent live album, was essentially a Whitesnake album, probably, the best album Whitesnake, never released (as whitesnake at least), so as you can understand Good to Be Bad is the eleventh studio album by Whitesnake released in April 2008. This is the first album of new studio material in a decade, since 1997's Restless Heart, not including the 4 new tracks recorded for the 2006 live album Live: In the Shadow of the Blues. According to charts around the world: Good To Be Bad is one of the band's most successful albums. All the trademarks of the Whitesnake sound, can be found here, in abundance. All the clichés are here as well, thrown in with NO measure. The albums sits uncomfortably between Slide it in, 1987 and Slip of the Tongue , stylistically, with a few melodies borrowed from the Coverdale/Page songbook as well, but the album also holds a couple of surprises and boasts a couple of interesting compositions, unlike anything we’ve heard before |

Black Rain is the title of Ozzy Osbourne's ninth studio album, released May 22, 2007 on Epic Records. Black Rain is the follow up to Osbourne's 2001 release Down to Earth. Short previews of most of the songs are available on ozzy.com, and the first single, "I Don't Wanna Stop", was released on Ozzy.com on April 13th. Osbourne has stated that this is the first album he has recorded sober. It featured a new musical style for him and was his first album to feature elements of industrial metal and thrash metal. Though his lyrical style remained similar to before, the album featured many elements not seen in previous albums, such as distorted and modified vocals (in an attempt to make Ozzy's voice sound younger), heavier guitars, and the higher usage of synthesizers. The latter may be because of the fact that this is the first album to not feature a keyboardist in Osbourne's backup band, and guitarist Zakk Wylde filled the spot for the album, and sometimes chose to add a keyboard solo to a song rather than a guitar solo. The album was released in several different versions. The original US version was released in a thin, brown digipak with the crowned skull Ozzy logo (pictured lower right), and for the rest of the world, it was released in a standard jewel case featuring cover art of Ozzy with "Black Rain" falling (pictured right). This cover included a booklet complete with lyrics and album credits. The US version did not include a booklet, lyrics, or album credits. The Japanese release was the same as the other releases outside of the US, except for the fact that it included two bonus tracks, "I Can't Save You," and "Nightmare." The iTunes release of the album included the aforementioned "Nightmare," plus an exclusive bonus track, (only for those who preordered through iTunes) "Love to Hate." It also included a printable pdf file of the booklet, complete with lyrics and album credits. This same booklet was later made available as a free pdf download from Ozzy's website on June 1. The song "I Don't Wanna Stop" was also featured as the theme song for WWE Judgment Day 2007. |

In many ways, killing is tied in with movement, and it's vital. The method by which you kill your enemies will change, based on the situation you are in, and on your style. Firstly, make sure that you are comfortable with the control keys, and are able to quickly select weapons, reload, holster, drop weapons, sneak and lean. These are vital to your success. Secondly, make sure you have the place cased out. Try not to kill people randomly - make sure that there is no one else hanging about, and if there is, that they are preferably out of earshot, but definitely out of vision. Dropping someone when a passer-by ambles past is never a good idea! Hitmen, cleaners, murderer’s, assassins, professional killers. Very few people ever consider killing as a profession; but for more people than the world’s governments care to admit, killing other people is indeed their profession. Does our government train killers? Of course it does. Every government does. To believe otherwise is stupid. Today, the C.I.A., the D.I.A., the N.S.A., and each special operations branch of our armed forces all maintain elite “termination squads.” Then there is the Mafia, every person on this planet knows about a Mafia of some sort. Mafia hitmen are the most dangerous killers. Patriotism or nationalism doesn’t motivate them. They do it all for money. Fortunately, they are used exclusively in the organized crime communities to kill informants, thieves, traitors, and the like. Regardless of who their employers be, all pro killers use similar techniques. It is these methods that assassins universally employ that we will learn.. |
