Mental Floss is an American magazine which is released on a bi-monthly basis. It began in 2001 and was set up by two students. The idea behind the magazine is to provide an educational read which is entertaining and funny. The founders wanted to create a magazine which recreated interesting lectures by their most enjoyable and enthusiastic professors. It will contain various different sections on different topics such as new scientific advancements and weird and wonderful tales of extraordinary people.
