Tried that but no joy, the best I can manage is errors transferring down the line (i.e: if I manage to get to the 1gig archive it shows errors at unpacking, and when I manage to get through that I get issues at the next stage, plus some of the small rar archives are of slightly different size when I believe they should all be same... I think the decompressor just skips the corrupt fragments so ultimately you won't get some fragments of data in the final process). If I'm doing something obviously wrong some more detailed instructions would be in order.

Also, the official date for this is, I think, Nov 10, is this the full market release or some kind of beta or RIP?

Thanks a bunch, I'm leading a campaign in Dark Heresy and I always have a problem with showing the players how "creature X" looks like if it's not presented in the rulebooks (like all the tyranids). This will certainly come in handy.

Far as I know it hasn't been officially released yet. It's an arkanoid clone with an addition of some hidden object (haven't actually gotten to that part so I can't really tell how well it's been executed) I played like two levels than got bored, not a keeper for me but whatever strikes your fancy.

A very funny game with a crazy theme, reminds me a bit of "The Wonderful End of the World". Some levels can lead to frustration as it may seem the game doesn't provide consumables fast enough but after a few attempts you can usually get through. A fine example of how a lot of entertainment can be delivered in a small package and without fireworks. Thanks for the upload.

I tried the thing with other scanners and checked on the web some more, there aren't really tons of people complaining of infections from this game and there are some mentions of false alarms on sites that have published it (including respectable gaming portals and homepages of some magazines, check here for example: http://www.gameupdates.org/details.php?id=1666 ), finally, since I played the game yesterday I actually performed the "heavy duty" type of scanning on my PC (which I only do when suspicious since with the size of my disk complete scan by a couple of programs takes a while) and it went rather well (at the very least nothing from the list reported by virustotal in license27kill's post).

Considering all this I accept the false alarm theory, ultimately though it is up to you to activate any file you download from the net. (Also, wouldn't it be amazing if they managed to actually stuff the 96k file with both a game and about 20 viruses? ;) )

It is working. For those of you who don't really believe it, type kkrieger into google, and check their official page or wiki. The thing itself makes a rather poor game, with some bugs (such as you or the enemies floating in the air instead of walking on the floor), virtually no enemy AI, no plot, little to no challenge and only one rather short level... But if you're into some programming oddities, or if you just have to see it to believe it, the thing is fascinating.

Problem solved: checked one more idea and force opening the archive with 7zip rather than the default program solved the problem, may be a matter of winzip/winace version, generally if you get this error try different/newer unpacker.

Probably same problem as waxahachie, one of the files (the age of mythology itself) gives the "file corrupt" error, I'll attempt to redownload it later today but the original files unrar fine so I'm guessing that's not the source of the problem.
