By "broke," I think what Lee_Yah meant was this:
After installation, the game was set to launch. Instead appeared the warning message:
"Unable ti execute file: C:/Program Files (x86)Dangerous High School Girls In Troublebringiton.exe" "CreateProcess failed; code 2. The system cannot find the file specified."
Indeed, in the directory where the program is installed, the only executable file is "unins000.exe." (To uninstall.) In other words, there is no file to execute the program..! That's as "broke" as we can get.
Mind you, this brokenness occurred on a Vista-64 system, which this game is apparently not designed for. If you have the operating systems that are listed in niessare's description, perhaps you would be in luck. The game sure sounds like fun.
Thankyou, niessare, for going through all the trouble you obviously do, in order to make these programs available. |

And thank you for the effort, but if my AVAST anti-virus program called it correctly, no thank you for the virus. (Perhaps a false ID, as the others above appear not to have had a problem. Users, after the download you may want to check with http://www.virustotal.com/. With a slow connection, keep in mind this would not be an easy option, as you will be uploading a very large file.)
If there is a virus, how ironic to have a virus in a package promising to get rid of viruses.
(See srtools1980y's post above, the one with the pretty face; she may be on to something, and the virus may be a false alarm. Unfortunately, when one gets an alert, it's difficult to ignore.) |

We owe a debt of gratitude for soft22 for going though the trouble of making this program available. I suppose soft22 decided against making the full version available, to cut down on the file size. For such a complicated program, the "help" section would have been essential. At least we can get an idea of what the program offers, and have the option of purchasing all the elements that are missing in this download.
Program uploaders assume the ones who check out their contributions are experts in figuring out what to do, but instructions would surely come in handy. (I often wonder why a few minutes aren't spent in preparing instructions...) For example, the program is split in two .RAR files, and I assumed both would need to be extracted into the same directory. But oddly, the second (smaller) file appears to have many of the elements of the first, with the same empty directories. So this I found confusing. In addition, the program didn't seem to install (the "installation" took place in an instant), but appears to operate out of the two folders with the extracted files. (There is no mention of the program in my Vista computer's "Program Files" directories.) So this was peculiar, all right.
64-bit Vista users may want to keep in mind that the keygen may not run. and so you will need to place this .EXE file (from the PARADOX folder) in "Data Execution Prevention." (Control Panel > System & Maintenance > System > Update > Change Settings (under "Computer name, domain and workgroup") > Advanced [tab] > Settings [tab] > Data Execution Prevention > Add...) |
