Here's a thought bbidowntown!
Well I can imagine as savefile.com is closing down their website on the 12th. of January 2009, it makes sense that one could easily start their own copy of savefile.com, and if one had the ability to handle the incoming uploads, one could easily see/steal any information people have uploaded to save. Hence, probably the reason they're closing down. So yeah, there's a thought. Another is starting your own yousendit.com site, and charging people to use the service, granted again one would have to have the ability to handle the uploads, and the ability to create a passable looking "VeriSign" secure emblem (Which is very, very easy...copy and paste into Word, a few HTML graphics, and there you have it) you may be able to get people to send you money, granted you have an account you could use that couldn't trace back to you. On top of that, you'd have a whole bunch of credit card numbers, complete with address's, etc. Heck, you may even be able to use "anonym.to" (one of the websites listed above) in there some where just for some safety precautions. So, what can one do? The possibilities are almost endless, for the creative mind...lol! I don't recommend doing any of the above though, not unless you're really inteleigent, and know what you're getting into and doing.
P.S. Don't operate in the U.S.A. lol.
Ha...here's a link you can use to install your own veriSign sign...lol. http://www.verisign.co.uk/ssl/secured-seal/index.html Just follow the steps, and it will go on your web page. WoW! |
