I had a problem...After unninstall it I can NOT reinstall my/our good Norton back anymore...I had used the Uninstalling Tool from Symantec plus jv16 to scan and erase some Nortons leftovers but the problem is still there...Do you know what I can do to solve this and return with Norton?? By the way guys...Take care when using this tool! Sometimes ( I mean almost always ) using it to clean the Registry is fatal. jv16 is too severe cleaning it. Its best resource is about finding registry traces from any Program that you have unistalled.

Of course Its quite Heavy dude! GData uses TWO Engines:fatty Kaspersky + Avast. Its a potent AV ( Best detection Rate nowadays ) although has Many False positives.

According to av-comparatives.org, GData had the highest detection rate of all the main AV in the marketing nowadays, being only 0.1 better than Avira. But both these AVs had Many False Positives results so they got ADVANCED status ( Not the best one ). Other AVs had lower detection levels combined with Low False positives getting the Best Status: ADVANCED+ : Nod32 , Kasperky , Norton and Mcafee. And Don`t forget this! GDATA uses TWO Engines: Kaspersky+Avast. Ouch! It has to be System hog (heavy)...at least you can turn off one of them if you want. Kaspersky alone is already very heavy.
