Yahoo! @license27kill : Same, but if you download directly from messenger.yahoo.com, you'll get a 500KiB "stub installer" which will try to download the full 14 MiB installer. If this download gets interrupted, the stub installer hangs.

That said, this is a direct link of the Full Standalone installer direct from Yahoo! if you don't trust the uploader (no offense intended):
