ProxyCap enables you to tunnel Internet applications through HTTP, SOCKS v4, and SOCKS v5 Proxy Servers. You can tell ProxyCap which applications will connect to the Internet through a proxy and under what circumstances. This is done through a user friendly interface, without the need to reconfigure any of your Internet clients. ProxyCap provides flexible rule system and allows you to define your own "tunneling" rules. You can add a new rule with just a few mouse clicks.

Changes in v3.15
ProxyCap now supports Windows Vista and 64-bit Windows operating systems.

Much as the intorduction tells us the program would work with Windows Vista 64-bit, double-clicking on the app yielded the following message:

"This installation package is not compatible with Windows 64 bit. Download the 64 bit installer from http://www.proxycap.com."

I wondered whether the installation would still work with the 64-bit version, but another problem when visiting http://www.proxycap.com/download.html was that there are two different programs (Pro and Service Edition), and we don't know from Niessare's description which one he provided for us. From the size of the file, I guess it would be the pro version.

The odds were against it, but I gave it a shot with the 64 bit pro app. It didn't work.
