Promo Ideas' recently released Wild Wild Train [App Store] is an action-puzzle game that likely will have massive appeal for rails fans, but also is a good enough game to be worth looking in to even if you're not crazy about trains.

Once you've chosen to Race or Swim, touch and hold the screen to start swimming. Move your finger on the screen to dodge coral and other obstacles. If you collide with something, lift your finger and touch the screen again to start swimming.

This game is just like the old chicken shooter game you used to play with plenty of hiding, flying and running chickens but there are a few little additions that make this game great for the iphone. But then again now it is a little harder to blame your bad aim on the gun…
The game starts off very simply with a screen full of very cute and zany chickens that you have to shoot. Some are more points than others, a scoring that apparently comes from their difficulty though at other times I am not so sure.

Boost 3D is about tunnels, and it's a rather simple affair. You start out racing down the inside of an obstacle-laden tunnel and, before you know it, you're racing down the outside of an obstacle-laden tunnel, tilting left and right, trying to keep from careening into varying arrangements of colorful blocks. There are boost pads that lend speed to your travel, as well as granting the ability to crash through an obstacle. Granted, it sounds pretty same-old, same-old — I mean, there're plenty of hurtle-down-a-tunnel games in the App Store — but somehow, Boost 3D stands above the pack. It has a certain stylized, simple charm that makes it feel unique. Not to mention the glass-smooth framerate.

You're a young lady pirate. There's a big water wheel contraption rolling through a randomly-generated level. You sit inside it (most of the time) and swipe the screen to jump in order to avoid obstacles, collect treasure and destroy enemies. It's not really like anything I've ever played before, despite sitting comfortably next to Run, Canabalt, etc.
