This childrens tv program is a classic 80s series about a group of teenage misfits , who form a football team , and a friendship , which gets them into trouble. it was first aired on the bbc at 17:05 on Wednesday the 23rd of April 1986 , and ran for two series.

Jossy Blair was a promising young footballer at Newcastle United before suffering career-ending knee injury. Now running a none-too-successful sports shop, he agrees to manage hopeless local boys' football team the Glipton Grasshoppers.

With a bit of hard work and discipline - and a lot of shenanigans along the way - he turns them into JOSSY'S GIANTS
