As enjoyable and convincing as guitar CD's go, the emotional depth of this playing screams out. The commitment to the music and the imagination in applying the shape and dynamics makes this recording the best of its kind. The 24 Caprichos de Goya para Guitarra are undoubtedly some of the most difficult and important guitar compositions. This recording confirms again (if one needed) the importance of Mr Bungarten's playing in the music world.
