when it says "service already started when running the exe" leave it and eventually your system should reboot.

When it restarted I checked my system settings and it said activated.

remember to uninstall any other hacks or cracks before running this!!!

You have to realize that there are TWO completely different activators out in the wild, Hazar's BOOT CODE (this one) and 7Loader BOOT ROM changer (SLIC2.1 activator).

This program (Hazar's) is like the Vista version of the OEM activator. It runs a small script on booting the computer that tells Windows that it is a Lenovo computer running a valid Win7 OEM license. It will NOT EXPIRE and WILL pass any and all authentication tests. The only way MS can kill this is to invalidate ALL Lenovo's Win7 installs (unlikely!).

The 7 Loader is using an activator that REQUIRES A BOOT ROM on your computer that has the SLIC 2.1 code. YOUR COMPUTER'S ROM may need to be flashed with a bootlegged copy with a particular OEM added as well as the SLIC 2.1 code to the ROM!
Hope that clears it up.

PS I did get a boot ROM SLIC 2.1 with HP update to my ROM but 7 loader STILL did not work. I used Hazer's instead and works fine.

No just happend, so this hack does not work anymore :-(

funny, the master key used in the crack was blacklisted by microsoft, but the hazar option still works for me on vmware.
