Worked first time on my Nuvi205wt that only came with UK & Ireland maps. Not enough memory as standard to add the maps so bought a 2GB SD card and then -
Created a folder on the SD card and named it 'Garmin' Copied the file 'GMAPPROM.IMG' to the folder Renamed the file 'GMAPSUPP.IMG' Pushed it into the slot on the side of the 205wt Switched it on
