3D Live Snooker is a great game, which simulates snooker on a computer. It features nice 3D graphics and animation, making the gaming experience very pleasant.
The game is easy to learn. However, it took me a while getting used to the shots. You can move or shift the cue into any direction. It's also possible to zoom in/out and to raise the view by using your mouse. When you shoot, you need to press the CTRL key and move your mouse forward. If you press F1, all the controls and hotkeys are displayed on-screen.
The game has several interesting features, allowing you to play in full-screen mode, to adjust the ball's velocity, and to adjust the graphic details. 3D Live Snooker supports anti-aliasing, lightmaps, and environment mapping. These graphic features make the game more realistic.
The difficulty level can be adjusted. You can also choose to play in single player, or in two player mode. I wasn't able to beat the computer when playing the "Expert" difficulty level. There are in fact 3 snooker games which you can play. In "mini" mode, you play snooker on a small table (about the size of a pool table). The "short" mode, provides a bigger table and 10 red balls. When playing the "full" snooker, you have 15 red balls. The full mode is only available if you register the game.
