MAME stands for Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator. When used in conjunction with an arcade game's data files (ROMs), MAME will more or less faithfully reproduce that game on a PC. MAME can currently emulate over 2600 unique (and over 4600 in total) classic arcade video games from the three decades of video games - ' 70s, ' 80s and '90s, and some from the current millennium. MAME's purpose is to preserve these decades of video-game history. As gaming technology continues to rush forward, MAME prevents these important "vintage" games from being lost and forgotten. |

#5: E-Books : Bad Money by Kevin Phillips (AUDIOBOOK) |
 |
| |
| The Author: ompeompe | 29 January 2009 | Views: 863 |

|
| |
"Bad Money" is about the insecurity of America's future given a debt-gorged financial sector, and vulnerability caused by expensive dependence on imported oil. The term refers not just to the depreciated dollar but also dangerous attitudes and flawed financial products. Kevin Phillips dedicates his latest insightful work of political and economic history to his grandson. It's a fitting tribute since, by the author's reckoning, the aforementioned young man might be well into his forties, and the U.S. deeply into its post-imperial senescence, by the time the mischief explained in the pages of Bad Money is fully digested by the earth's economic system. Instead of reflecting upon and compensating for the turn to an unprecedented expansion of finance capitalism that today supersedes manufacturing in this nation by at least six percent of GDP, Wall Street, our empire's "coliseum," chose instead to gamble upon the promulgation of an unregulated class of investments known as derivatives, the size and scope of which, particularly in terms of their capacity to hedge against risk, could only be guessed at. So much for the efficacy of market deregulation. Through his incisive and perceptive use of charts and tables, and,in his exceptionally clear narrative, Phillips makes the case that our government lies to itself as well as us. Now, American have fifty trillion dollars in debt. |

#6: Games : Star war:battlefront(super highly compressed full version pc game) |
 |

Battlefront includes 16 different maps, spread out over 10 different planets that range from the dusty landscape of Geonosis to the forests of Endor to the rain-swept oceans of Kamino. As in Battlefield 1942's conquest mode, players must capture specific spots on the map called "command points." Your team spawns at command points, as do vehicles, so it's important to protect the ones you control and capture the other ones away from your enemy. The team that controls the majority of the command points at any given moment causes the other team's score ticker to count down; once one team's countdown hits zero, the other side wins. Control all the points on the map for 20 seconds, and your team will automatically win. people this is a highly compressed game so enjoy it When Star Wars: Battlefront was announced a year ago, the premise excited many fans of George Lucas' sci-fi franchise, if only because it just made so much sense. Battlefront would take some of the ubiquitous characters, vehicles, and weapons from Star Wars and incorporate them into a Battlefield 1942-style team-based shooter, featuring large maps, dozens of players, and plenty of drivable vehicles, in addition to on-foot shooting. Now that the game is finally available, we can confirm that Battlefront delivers this experience--no more and no less. It's a solid multiplayer action game on its own merits, even if the premise is familiar. As such, how much you'll finally end up liking it will probably depend on how much you like Star Wars and how much Battlefield-style gameplay you've already been exposed to. |

#7: Music » Music Video : VAN HALEN Live: Right Here, Right Now (DVD FULL) |
 |

The footage was filmed with 15 cameras over two nights in May 1992 and mixed together, with the bulk of the footage and music coming from the second night. The DVD is single-sided but dual-layer format, running approximately 120 minutes long. The only non-musical items are optional subtitles or closed captioning (DVD) plus a brief clip of each performer (not in concert) talking about music in general. 15 of the songs here were part of the 27 recordings from the live double-CD album with the addition of two songs which weren't on the audio album: The Dream Is Over and Eagles Fly. The 15 songs from both the film and album are generally the same, but there are notable differences, particularly Eddie Van Halen's guitar playing and his solo "316", in which he makes several mistakes. Track listing 1. "Poundcake" – 5:28 2. "Judgement Day" – 4:52 3. "Man on a Mission" – 4:49 4. "When It's Love" – 5:22 5. "In 'n' Out" – 6:20 6. "Right Now" – 6:13 7. "Ultra Bass" – 5:15 8. "Pleasure Dome/Drum Solo" – 9:38 9. "Spanked" – 5:08 |

Rhoma Irama is an Famous Indonesian dangdut singer. During the height of his stardom in the 19 70s, he became the self-proclaimed Raja Dangdut (King of Dangdut) with the group Soneta. Rhoma Irama was receive the PhD award from the American University of Hawaii in February 2005. He also one of the artists on the only CD containing dangdut music in the United States, which was released on Smithsonian Folkways Recordings as part of its Indonesian music series. With this you will hear many famous hits from Rhoma Irama: " Begadang", " Judi", " Piano" and more. Enjoy the music...Come on, forget the lyrics..Celeberate your New Year's Party with this...And dance! In the late 1960s a new popular music called dangdut emerged from the slums and suburbs of Jakarta in Indonesia. The music was performed on an electrified and modernized version of the older acoustic orkes melayu orchestra and combined influences from Indian and Malaysian film music, Islamic popular music and American popular song, primarily rock. The name dangdut is an onomatopoeic reference to the tabla-like pair of drums used in the ensemble that supply the genre with its defining rhythm: DANG dut, in which a heavy, low-sounding pitch off the beat ("dang") is followed by a light, higher pitch note on the downbeat ("dut"). The form was originally characterized by love duets between young men and women. |

No doubt about it. Sammy puts on the best live shows ever, but most of his success is from his old stuff. The two songs with Neil Schon jam big time and riff master Billy Duffy (The Cult) churns out another one on Loud! Overall, the cd is very solid and Sammy's voice just gets better with age. Is this guy really in his 60's? Sammy Hagar is still THE RED ROCKER, with this new cd he is doing a great job at it. LYRICS? Who listens to Sammy for his lyrics anyway. LISTEN TO HIS VOICE! this one just simply ROCKS! This albumn really does rock, is really an excellent tune! The song that completely tune LOUD The Red Rocker has been pretty consistent since leaving Van Halen back in 1996, releasing a new album every few years. For the most part they've been pretty good; even if they weren't classics there'd be at least a couple of songs fans of old-school 70s/ 80s rock would like. The hard-rocking "Ten 13" (2000) and the Jimmy Buffet-esque "Livin' it Up" (2006) were especially good. After parting ways with vocalist DAVID LEE ROTH, the remaining members of the band Van Halen contacted many potential replacements. Given Eddie's appreciation of Montrose and his car mechanic's suggestion, the band auditioned and quickly hired Hagar to fill the opening. With Hagar at the front, VAN HALEN produced four multi-platinum, |

#11: Music : Billy Joel - Greatest Hits - Volume I & Volume II (1998) |

|
| |
MP3 | 25 Tracks | 192 KBPS | Covers Included | Genre: Rock | 158 MB Billy Joel's Greatest Hits Vol. 1-2 contains all the best songs from his peak years of 1973-1985. By condensing the highlights from the best part of his career (1973-1985) onto two discs, it hightlights the reason for his massive popularity during that time period. The album starts out with a selection of his best pre-stardom songs, including, of course, "Piano Man," but also other strong cuts like the teenage loser anthem "Captain Jack," "Say Goodbye to Hollywood," and "The Entertainer." Then comes a generous helping of songs from his 1977 breakthrough album, "The Stranger," including the massive hits "Just the Way You Are," and "She's Always a Woman." The second disc is then mostly a run through of Joel's succession of late 70s and early 80s hits, starting with the teenage independence ode "My Life" and ending with 1985's "You're Only Human." All in all, this is the perfect collection of Joel's music for the casual fan who doesn't want to splurge for all of the original albums. |
