Some critics accused Davis of selling out, while the public bought it like crazy. It is one of the most examined albums of all time, even garnering a box set of the sessions. To date, "*****es Brew" is one of the top selling jazz albums of all time. "Miles Electric: A Different Kind of Blue" examines the next step in the creative process...performing these songs live. The 1970 Isle of Wight featured an array of performers from The Who to Jethro Tull to Joni Mitchell. With improvisation playing a big role in the performance, the band (Jack DeJohnette, Chick Corea, Keith Jarrett, Gary Bartz and Dave Holland) had to be "on", yet ready to change on the fly. Directed by award-winning producer Murray Lerner, "Miles Electric" sits down with several of the performers who played with Miles, interspersed with his 1970 Isle of Wight performance, as well as artists such as Carlos Santana and Joni Mitchell, who describe the impact Miles Davis had towards music.

Christine Brown is responsible for loans in a bank and expects to be promoted to the open position of assistant manager after dealing a big contract. However, the new hire Stu Rubin is a collusive coworker that scheming against Christine to be selected by the manager Mr. Jacks to the position. When Mrs. Ganush, an old gypsy with appearance of witch that has been evicted by the bank, requests a third extension of her mortgage, Mr. Jacks tells Christine that it is her call. In the night, Christine is stalked by Mrs. Ganush in the parking lot and they struggle. Out of the blue, Mrs, Ganush removes a button from Christine's coat, curses it, returns the button to her and vanishes. Later, while going home with her psychologist boy-friend Clay Dalton, they pass by the fortune teller Rham Jas, and Christine decides to consult him. He advises her that Christine has the fiend Lamia, the Black Goat, upon her. When Christine is haunted by the dark spirit during the night, at home, she tries to fix the situation releasing the loan of Mrs. Ganush.

The game is essentially an isometric beat-em-up, although Jackson attacks with magic powers instead of physical contact, and has the ability to shoot magic power at enemies instead of getting close enough for a melee attack. A map of the stage is shown before it begins, and after which, Jackson must get from the start to the end without losing all his health, rescuing all the children and defeating all the enemies along the way.
The game can also be played multiplayer; if the cabinet supports it, up to three people can play simultaneously. All three players play as Jackson, dressed in his suit from the "Smooth Criminal" music video. The first player wears a white suit and hat, with a blue shirt; the second player's character dons a scarlet outfit with a black shirt; the third player's character is dressed in black, with a red shirt. The characters all have armbands: red for black outfit, black for red outfit, and blue for white outfit.

Breaks no new ground, relying instead on signature power ballads, big-hearted anthems, and crunching rockers. . . . Satriani is an old-fashioned guitar hero, an antic wailer, and a romantic at heart. . . .

"Crystal Planet" is not just the title for this album; it defines Satriani's homeland, and as intergalactic emissary, this is a gift from the race of superior alien musicians he personifies. There is literally nothing like it on earth. And if you're thinking that only a guitar player can enjoy an album like this, which is void of lyrics, sung or spoken, think again.

Live Alive is a magnificent double-length showcase for Stevie Ray Vaughan's guitar playing, featuring a number of extended jams on a selection of most of the best material from Vaughan's first three albums, plus covers of "Willie the Wimp," "I'm Leaving You (Commit a Crime)," and Stevie Wonder's "Superstition." The album may not be exceptionally tight or concise, but then again, that's not the point. The renditions here sound less polished than the studio versions, with Vaughan's guitar tone bitingly down and dirty and his playing spontaneous and passionate.

Blue Murder was the brainchild of guitar virtuoso John Sykes. It was a melodic heavy metal band from England, founded by ex-Whitesnake guitarist Sykes. Upon Sykes' firing from the most successful version of Whitesnake, the former Tygers Of Pan Tang and Thin Lizzy axe-man set out to create a similar sounding bluesy hard rock band. They released two studio albums and one live album before breaking up in 1994.

The late Ray Gillen, most famous for singing for Black Sabbath and Badlands, sang for an early version of Blue Murder, and reportedly the band recorded demos with him, but no albums. Another interesting thing to note is that John Sykes was himself once in a different band also called Badlands.

Another masterpiece by Sykes. Listen to the awesome guitars, vocals, and songwriting of John Sykes. He is one of the greatest of all time. Lock yourself into the monster groove of "Cry for love"!! Listen to another huge Sykes signature riff on "I'm on fire"!! You will never stop listening to this stuff.

The second Blue Murder album is a bit of a catch-all in that it features tracks with the original trio, with the Marco Mendoza version of the group, and even one with (temporary) lead singer Kelly Keeling. For metal fans, there's a bunch of excellent material here, but I can't help but feel that it all suffers in comparison to the fantastic first album. The album is 1-2 songs too long, and it was released too late to catch any of the heat from the semi-success of the first CD. Nonetheless, the playing is great, and the 2nd version of the group is at least a good stand-in for the first, with Mendoza proving himself especially able. Sykes has some better lyrics on this album and shows himself maturing as a songwriter.

“Good to be bad” is the band’s eleventh studio release, and the first release to carry the Whitesnake insignia, in many years. “Into the light”, David Coverdale’s third solo album, that precedes this one as the latest studio effort, if one discards the 4 songs that were included in the recent live album, was essentially a Whitesnake album, probably, the best album Whitesnake, never released (as whitesnake at least), so as you can understand

Load is the sixth album by American heavy metal band Metallica, released in June 1996. It has sold over 5 million copies in the US as certified by the RIAA. After the 14 million copies of The Black Album sold in America, the 5 million Load sold was somewhat of a disappointment commercially.

The album marked the band's return to the musical landscape, approximately five years after the release of their international smash success, Metallica. Load saw the band embrace a collective sound and identity far removed from their thrash metal roots. As on previous releases, the fourteen songs that would eventually make up the album began as rough demos created by principal songwriters James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich in Ulrich's basement recording studio, "The Dungeon." The band took over 30 demos into The Plant Studios in the spring of 1995 where they would work for approximately the next year. Once again, Metallica teamed up with famed producer Bob Rock, who had been at the helm during the recording process for Metallica.

The songwriting dispenses almost entirely with the thrash metal style that characterized the band's sound in the 1980s. In place of staccato riffs, Hetfield and lead guitarist Kirk Hammett experimented with more blues-based tones and styles. Ulrich adopted a minimalist approach to his drum recording, abandoning the speed and complex double bass patterns of previous albums. Hetfield displayed a lyrical evolution as well, writing what many feel to be his most personal and introspective lyrics. "Until it Sleeps," the album's lead single, addressed his father's losing battle with cancer, while "Mama Said" explored his relationship with his mother. All of this marked a departure from the political and social overtones of albums like ...And Justice for All.

The Stray Cats, schoolmates from New York City, are the most popular and the best-known revival band in the world.
