Welcome to Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. Welcome to the 1980s.
Having just made it back onto the streets of Liberty City after a long stretch in maximum security, Tommy Vercetti is sent to Vice City by his old boss, Sonny Forelli. They were understandably nervous about his re-appearance in Liberty City, so a trip down south seemed like a good idea. But all does not go smoothly upon his arrival in the glamorous, hedonistic metropolis of Vice City. He's set up and is left with no money and no merchandise. Sonny wants his money back, but the biker gangs, Cuban gangsters, and corrupt politicians stand in his way. Most of Vice City seems to want Tommy dead. His only answer is to fight back and take over the city himself.

Grand Theft Auto 2, also known as GTA2, is a video game that was released worldwide on October 22, 1999, by developer DMA Design (now Rockstar North); initially for the Windows operating system and the PlayStation. The game was later ported to the Dreamcast console and the Game Boy Color. It is the sequel to the controversial 1997 hit Grand Theft Auto. The PC and Dreamcast versions of GTA2 are both rated M by the ESRB. The language and violence was toned down for the PlayStation and Game Boy Color versions which received a T rating.Rockstar now offers the PC version as registerware for free download at their website. GTA2 was preceded by the original Grand Theft Auto and succeeded by Grand Theft Auto III.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City for the PC needs no introduction. Not only is this game in many ways better than its amazing predecessor Grand Theft Auto III, but it's also technically superior to the original version of Vice City that was released on the PlayStation 2 a number of months ago. Like GTAIII for the PC, Vice City is identical to the original PS2 version in terms of content, so if you've already played that version to death, you won't find the PC version to be much different. However, the PC version of Vice City does offer enhanced visuals and controls, improved loading times, and a few extra frills. More importantly, it offers the same refreshingly open-ended gaming experience, which has occasionally been reviled for its controversial subject matter, but has far more often elicited much-deserved praise. Simply put, if by some chance you've put off playing Vice City up till now, don't wait any longer.

To be clear, Vice City is an extension of Grand Theft Auto III, rather than a completely overhauled sequel. That's definitely a good thing, because GTAIII's freestyle gameplay was extremely entertaining and offered tremendous replay value, yet still had more potential. Vice City fulfills a lot of that potential, as it features improved production values (including over eight hours of licensed music and plenty of Hollywood voice actors), new types of drivable vehicles (motorcycles, helicopters, and golf carts), new weapons, better vehicle damage modeling, indoor environments, and more.

SA-MP. SA-MP is a multiplayer mod for the PC version of Rockstar's GTA: San Andreas, which allows people to play together over the internet or a LAN.

While SAC (SA-MP Anti-cheat) was by far the most effective anti-cheat system we've ever had in SA-MP, we no longer have the resources to maintain such a system.

Since SAC was able ban players across all SAC protected servers, it transformed SA-MP from a multiplayer mod into a software gaming service. It was not the original intention of this project to become a gaming service.

The anticheat directive in the server configs will no longer function and SAC will be completely removed from future SA-MP releases.
