Encyclopaedia Of The Quran (Koran) ~ 6 Volume Set | 27 MB Product Description:The Qur'an is the primary religious text for one-sixth of the world's population. Understood by Muslims to contain God's own words, it has been an object of reverence and of intense study for centuries. The thousands of volumes that Muslim scholars have devoted to qur'anic interpretation and to the linguistic, rhetorical and narrative analysis of the text are sufficient to create entire libraries of qur'anic studies. Drawing upon a rich scholarly heritage, Brill's "Encyclopaedia of the Qur'an" (EQ) combines alphabetically-arranged articles about the contents of the Qur'an. It is an encyclopaedic dictionary of qur'anic terms, concepts, personalities, place names, cultural history and exegesis extended with essays on the most important themes and subjects within qur'anic studies. With nearly 1000 entries in 5 volumes, the "EQ" is the first comprehensive, multi-volume reference work on the Qur'an to appear in a Western language. Cross-referencing and indices, frequent cross-references will draw readers to related entries and each article will conclude with a citation of relevant bibliography. The final volume of the "EQ" will contain indices of transliterated terms, of qur'anic references and of the authors and exegetes cited in the entries and essays. It will also include a synoptic outline of the full contents of the "EQ". "The EQ" is a fully international work supported by an international board of advisors. Scholars from many nations have written articles for the encyclopaedia. Projected Publication Dates: Volume One (A-D): In print, Volume Two (E-I): In print, Volume Three (J-O): In print 2003, Volume Four (P-Sh): In print 2004, and Volume Five: Fall 2005. |

The iPod has been around since 2001, and already there have been multiple generations of products leveraging the power of all kinds of different (and sometimes competing) technologies. I know lots of Netmasterz members own an iPod or nano, so you might as well get this manual to show lots of ways to hack your nano and pimp out your iPod. Today’s iPod might work more or less the same as the classic original did, but what makes each individual generation of iPod work is surprisingly different when you get down to it. As with anything high-tech, the closer you look, the more complicated it gets. Before you can attempt to fix your iPod, you need to know exactly what you’re fixing. The parts and even the techniques that you use often change depending upon the model. Hence, the purpose of this introductory chapter. We’ll get you up to speed on what vintage iPod you’re packing. You don’t need a serial number, and you don’t need an instruction manual. All you need is your good sense and the words and pictures herein. We discuss storage capacity, production dates, component compatibility, and other identifying features. We also touch on some of the little quirks and details that make iPod ownership less like class consciousness and more like enlightenment. QuickSteps books are recipe books for computer users. They answer the question “How do I…?” by providing a quick set of steps to accomplish the most common tasks with a particular program. The sets of steps are the central focus of the book. Sidebar QuickSteps provide information on how to do quickly many small functions or tasks that are in support of the primary functions. Sidebar QuickFacts supply information that you need to know about a subject. Notes, Tips, and Cautions augment the steps, but they are presented in a separate column to not interrupt the flow. Brief introductions are present, but there is minimal narrative otherwise. Many il lustrations and figures, a number with callouts, are also included where they support the steps. QuickSteps books are organized by function and the tasks needed to perform those functions. Each function is a chapter. Each task, or “How To,” contains the steps needed for its accomplishment along with the relevant Notes, Tips, Cautions, and screenshots. |

Most of us grew up with the same set of rules: go to school, get good grades, get a safe, secure job, work hard, build up your 401k, etc. We've all been taught that this is the way to reach the "American Dream." But the rich follow a different set of rules. In fact, the rich live in a world that most of us know nothing about. The rich pay less taxes and have set up their lives in such a way that money constantly comes into their pockets. At the same time, they use expenses to their advantage. In other words, the rules of the rich are what make them rich. Let's face it, the rich are getting richer, and the middle class is getting deeper in debt trying to keep up with the lifestyle of the rich . . . which makes the rich even richer. Robert Kiyosaki has found a better alternative -- his Rich Dad's secrets. "Rich Dad Secrets to Money, Business, and Investing" offers the lessons about money that Robert Kiyosaki, a self-made millionaire, learned from his rich dad . . . a dad that gave him not only money, but his secrets to acquiring great wealth. In this groundbreaking program, you will learn these priceless secrets. Instead of working for money, you'll learn how to make money work hard for you. You'll discover why you don't need a high income to become rich -- and that all you need is financial education -- the type of education this program can offer you. |
