To use MySecretFolder software, simply decide which folder on your hard drive should be your secret folder (that is, the folder where you want to store your personal files and documents away form other users), and tell MySecretFolder software how you want your secret folder to be protected.

With MySecretFolder you can:

Hide your secret folder
You can make your private folder on the hard drive invisible to other users. The folder would be hidden from virtually all programs, including Windows Explorer, Office, MS-DOS programs, etc. You can make the folder visible by unprotecting it with your password; other users would be unable to do that without knowing the correct password. Lock your personal folder with a password

Instead of hiding a folder, you could tell MySecretFolder software to protect your private folder with a password. That is, the folder would be visible to you and other users, but when someone attempts to open it, a password prompt would be displayed.
