#1: E-Books : The Stock Trader - How I Make a Living Trading Stocks by Tony Oz |

"Put your money where your mouth is," came the challenge. So he did. Best selling author, Tony Oz, was challenged by Tim Bourquin and Jim Sugarman, founders of the International Online Trading Expo, to prove that his stock trading strategies work, that he could consistently take higher-than-average returns out of the market. To meet the challenge, Tony kept a trading diary for four weeks, documenting each and every trade he made. The simple story that unfolded turned out to be of much greater consequence than anyone could have foreseen, as Tony chronicled a first-h and description of one of the worst stock market crashes in recent memory. Tony was already into his four-week trading challenge at the peak of the Nasdaq market, just before the Crash of April 2000. Having no idea at the time that he was in the middle of a “correction” that would wipe out over two trillion dollars of stockholder's equity, Tony managed to earn respectable profits each week, and had only a few losing days. What is truly extraordinary is that all trades were on the Long side - not one trade was selling Short in a rapidly declining bear market. The results of the challenge are detailed in this exciting new book. Inside, Tony tells how he chose a broker, set up an account, and then drew a h andsome income from the stock market each week, earning a 56% return on his capital in one month - more than most investors earn in a year. Over 100 round trip trades are recorded, charted and explained in a daily trading journal. Tony reveals what he was thinking and feeling, and he explains each trade's strategy, and his profits and losses - all the while walking the reader through his simple methodology and simple rules. At the end of each week, he ordered a check from his broker to “sweep” his account, and prevent compounding of profits. “After all,” Tony explains in the book, “Friday is payday." |

Skills Resource Book || 5498 KB ||rar-rapidshare The Earth is getting smaller. The internet has shrunk the entire planet down to the size of your computer screen. Businesses all over the world are going global, and, as the title of this blog says, English is the international language of business. Whatever the language of its home country, a company that wants to attract customers beyond the limitations of geography must use an English version of its website to inform, promote, convince, and sell. But there can be a huge difference between English written by native speakers and the English written by people who use it as a second language. I have nothing but admiration for people who master a second language. It takes years of dedication. But no matter how much effort one puts into learning English, it is the rare person indeed who can write it like someone born to the task. Companies who want to sell to English-speaking customers need to pay close attention to the quality of writing that appears on websites, in brochures, and in product literature. Language, skillfully used, has the power to make a connection between writer and reader. That’s a valuable asset in marketing. Well organized, error-free text, written in a pleasing style, will make potential clients feel well informed, comfortable, and confident – and more likely to buy. |

#5: E-Books : Reminiscences of a Stock Operator by Edwin Lefèvre (A biography of Jesse Livermore) |
| |
| The Author: ompeompe | 24 January 2009 | Views: 1018 |
| |
Reminiscences of a Stock Operator is the thinly disguised biography of Jesse Livermore, a remarkable character who first started speculating in New Engl and bucket shops at the turn of the century. Livermore, who was banned from these shady operations because of his winning ways, soon moved to Wall Street where he made and lost his fortune several times over. What makes this book so valuable are the observations that Lefèvre records about investing, speculating, and the nature of the market itself. For example: " It never was my thinking that made the big money for me. It always was my sitting. Got that? My sitting tight! It is no trick at all to be right on the market. You always find lots of early bulls in bull markets and early bears in bear markets. I've known many men who were right at exactly the right time, and began buying or selling stocks when prices were at the very level which should show the greatest profit. And their experience invariably matched mine--that is, they made no real money out of it. Men who can both be right and sit tight are uncommon." If you've ever spent weekends and nights puzzling over whether to buy, sell, or hold a position in whatever investment--be it stock, bonds, or pork bellies, you'll be glad that you read this book. Reminiscences of a Stock Operator is full of lessons that are as relevant today as they were in 1923 when the book was first published. Highly recommended. |

#6: E-Books : When the Market Moves, Will You Be Ready? by Peter Navarro |
| |
| The Author: ompeompe | 28 December 2008 | Views: 530 |
| |
High-profile events and announcements can cause tremendous swings in stocks and sectors, and often point out tremendous opportunities to investors who know how to read them. When the Market Moves, Will You Be Ready? is a "how-to" for knowing which events matter versus which are meaningless, and how to take advantage of the former for consistent trading success. Emphasizing the practical side of trading, When the Market Moves, Will You Be Ready? features exercises, Q&As, and checklists for using investing techniques in day, swing, value, or virtually any other trading or investing style. This hands-on book explores: * Techniques for finding the best stock in a given sector * Methods for profitably combining technical and fundamental analysis * Ways to continually assess market and sector trends This book takes a wonderful 'bifocal' look at investing. If you want a book that is both practical and insightful, this is the book for you. |

#7: E-Books : Secrets For Profiting in Bull and Bear Markets by Stan Weinstein |
| |
| The Author: ompeompe | 9 December 2008 | Views: 2507 |
| |
This book has completely changed by perspective on trading or investing (there's a difference). With either one, you will find this book VERY helpful and practical (recognizing breakouts, when to buy, when to sell, cycles of a stock's life, market timing, shorting stocks, establishing safeguards, various order types, etc.). The book has a heavy emphasis on analyzing charts. This is a major plus, but it's very practical, not numbingly theoretical. This is the best book on trading techniques that you have ever read. It is based on how to do "stage analysis," that is, looking at charts to determine whether a stock is going up, topping, declining, or bottoming out. The author stresses using stage analysis not only on individual stocks, but also on industry sectors as well as indexes like the Dow and Nasdaq. Stan Weinstein's Secrets For Profiting in Bull and Bear Markets reveals his successful methods for timing investments to produce consistently profitable results. Topics include: * Stan Weinstein's personal philosophy on investing * The ideal time to buy * Refining the buying process * Knowing when to sell |

#8: E-Books : Study Guide for Sell and Sell Short by Alexander Elder |
| |
| The Author: ompeompe | 9 December 2008 | Views: 2026 |
| |
The latest book from Dr. Alex ander Elder, begins with buying, risk management, and record-keeping, but focuses on two essential skills - selling and selling short. There are rules for several different methods of selling and shorting. The book includes over 100 charts which illustrate dozens of trades, many of them from the author's own diary. The book is printed in full color. Selling is the hard part of trading. If the stock we buy rises, when do we take profits? If our stock falls, when do we bite the bullet and exit the trade? If our stock stagnates, when do we say enough is enough and move on to another opportunity? Every serious trader must make these decisions. Stocks go down as well as up, but most market participants only go long - effectively throwing out half of their profit opportunities. Sell and Sell Short shows that stocks tend to fall twice as fast as they rise. This provides great opportunities for faster profits in selling short, but calls for different strategies than trading from the long side. The Study Guide contains 115 questions and answers, including 17 chart studies. Each question challenges you to focus on some essential aspect of successful trading. Answers to the questions provide detailed explanations of why some replies are right and others are wrong. The three parts of this Study Guide cover all the major areas of trading: How to Buy, Manage Money, and Keep Records; How to Sell; How to Sell Short |

#9: E-Books : Bollinger on Bollinger Bands by John A. Bollinger |
| |
| The Author: ompeompe | 5 December 2008 | Views: 1449 |
| |
Bollinger B ands are a technical analysis tool invented by John Bollinger in the 1980s. Having evolved from the concept of trading b ands, Bollinger B ands can be used to measure the highness or lowness of the price relative to previous trades. The purpose of Bollinger B ands is to provide a relative definition of high and low. By definition, prices are high at the upper b and and low at the lower b and. This definition can aid in rigorous pattern recognition and is useful in comparing price action to the action of indicators to arrive at systematic trading decisions. The use of Bollinger B ands varies wildly among traders. Some traders buy when price touches the lower Bollinger B and and exit when price touches the moving average in the center of the b ands. Other traders buy when price breaks above the upper Bollinger B and or sell when price falls below the lower Bollinger B and. Moreover, the use of Bollinger B ands is not confined to stock traders; options traders, most notably implied volatility traders, often sell options when Bollinger B ands are historically far apart or buy options when the Bollinger B ands are historically close together, in both instances, expecting volatility to revert back towards the average historical volatility level for the stock.-technical analysis. Get the word from the Master! ... the indicator discussion is heaven for tech junkies. |

#10: E-Books : A Mathematician Plays The Stock Market by John Allen Paulos |
| |
| The Author: ompeompe | 2 December 2008 | Views: 1281 |
| |
Mr. Paulos, who teaches mathematics at Temple, has a knack for making technical concepts clear and entertaining. It is a genius at translating the arcane .... This book should be required reading for anyone opening a brokerage account. Paulos makes the process rewarding for those who want a better underst anding of how the market works. Throughout this wide-ranging survey, the writing is spirited, funny and clear. Yes, there are many percentage signs in this book ... But Paulos' humor and clarity will see you through, a double-chocolate nougat of a book — a rich, densely packed delight. It is also rueful, funny and disarmingly personal . There is a certain pleasure to be had in reading that mathematical genius need be no barrier to financial comeuppance |

#13: E-Books : Short Selling: Strategies, Risks, and Rewards by Frank J. Fabozzi |
| |
| The Author: ompeompe | 28 November 2008 | Views: 1101 |
| |
The latest theoretical and empirical evidence on short selling in the United States and throughout the world. This is a great book for those that are trying to underst and the theoretical underpinings of short selling. It is probably most appropriate for money managers who are trying to underst and the difference between long and short strategies, quants (as a basic book with which to frame short selling separate from long startegies), and generalists. It is not a book for day traders who would do better focusing on charting. Short selling is regarded as a risky business in the finance community. Yet, informed professionals recognize that short selling is an essential element of portfolio management. Clients who impose restrictions that prevent their managers from short selling will hamper them from maximizing their returns. |
