Tess forces Oliver to come to a Queen Industries gala to put the Board at ease, but things go awry when the Toyman shows up with a bomb and a plan to take revenge on Oliver. The Toyman tells Oliver he must confess to murdering Lex or he will blow the place up. Meanwhile, as part of his training, Jor-El gives Clark the ability to hear other people’s thoughts.

Zod and his soldiers release a virus into the air that turns humans into zombies. The only way to stop it is to make an antidote from the blood of another Kryptonian. After Lois is infected, Chloe pleads with Clark to donate his blood to stop the epidemic, even though it risks outing him to Zod.

Lois’ new colleague, John Corben, undergoes a horrific transformation when he awakens from an accident with superhuman strength and a heart made of kryptonite. Determined to use his new power to further his vendetta against the Blur, Corben sets out kill the vigilante. Smallville is an American television series developed by writers/producers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, based on the DC Comics character Superman created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. The television series was initially broadcast by The WB, first premiering on October 16, 2001.[1] After its fifth season, The WB and UPN merged to form The CW, which is the current broadcaster for the show in the United States.[2] Smallville was renewed for its ninth season on February 24, 2009.[3] The series follows the adventures of Clark Kent (Tom Welling), who resides in the fictional town of Smallville, Kansas, during the years before he becomes Superman. The first four seasons focused on Clark and his friends' high school years. Since season five, the show has ventured into more adult settings, eventually focusing on his career at the Daily Planet, as well as introducing other DC comic book superheroes and villains.

Michael Clarke Duncan, Chris Klein, Rick Yune, and Neal McDonough co-star in the 20th Century Fox production.

With the same alternative-pop theme as the first Smallville collection, this second disc once again reveals just how much the show integrates music into its plot lines and overall feel. The track list includes familiar songs such as the All American Rejects' "Dirty Little Secret," and Depeche Mode's newest hit "Precious," but there are also a few surprises. The Alan Moulder remix of the Dandy Warhols' "All The Money Or Simple Life Honey" is a booty-shaking blast, while the rock-meets-goth cover of Chris Isaak's "Wicked Game" courtesy of HIM is an amusingly amped-up new take on the older tune. Actress-songstress Minnie Driver offers her light jazz take on Springsteen's "Hungry Heart" , and Lifehouse delivers their touching version of "You and Me," while Josh Kelley's "Almost Honest" could be the soundtrack to anybody's breakup or breakdown. It's true that many of these songs have been previously released, but Smallville fans are a devoted bunch who will likely appreciate being able to buy their favorite tracks on one disc.
