Ozzy Osbourne's guitarist Randy Rhoads was a technical genius on his instrument, but that's only half the story. Rhoads shaped the direction of Osbourne's first two post-Sabbath recordings, Diary of a Madman and Blizzard of Ozz, which still stand as his best solo studio albums. Rhoads also was capable of pulling the best out of Osbourne onstage, a notable accomplishment in itself.

This live set was released five years after Rhoads's death in a bizarre plane accident, and it's still a striking reminder of what was lost. Osbourne and company run through the Blizzard album in its entirety, adding a few tunes from Diary, and the Sabbath classics "Iron Man," "Children of the Grave," and "Paranoid." The highlights are Rhoads's guitar freakout on "Suicide Solution" and studio outtakes of his solo acoustic showcase, "Dee."

Here was a classically trained guitarist that was interested in incorporating brilliant and complex guitar arraingments with popular music. You know, a lot of players sound great in the studio, when they can triple track their recordings, but here, Rhoads shreds in fluid beauty, live and in person. Just incredible playing.

The Journey: Shock Malaysia with Bintang Lima
THOUGH new album owned group of music DEWA having title “Bintang Lima” has circulated sufficiently long in Indonesia, but in Malaysia is just circularized around two months ago. The album simply gets remarkable greeting from public Malaysia.

This thing is proven when Dewa performs a promotion-tour in Malaysia performed in Hard Rock Café Kualalumpur (January15, 2001). In the concert performance, DEWA greeted by 700 audiences building drug, and noted by around 400 others who beyond the building. Besides DEWA is including group of first band bouncing Indonesian song in Hard Rock Café.

According to the manager of DEWA who escorts the tour, confess has just been is this, there are artist enabled by singing Indonesian songs in one of cafe in Kualalumpur. This album marks a complete change of sound for the band. The songs were longer, more complex, and featured lyrics about more than just driking & sex. Chris Holmes was never much of a lead guitarist, but on this disc even he steps up and delivers well.

This album is heavy and dark (nicely broken up by "Forever Free," a great ballad). Was it the addition of Banali, who's clearly a stronger drummer that made the difference? Who can say, really? At the end of the day, this album took WASP to a new level. If you don't have this and you're any kind of WASP fan, do yourself a favor and pick this on up.

Right off the bat, "The Heretic (The Lost Child)" kicks into high gear and sets the pace for the record. Track 2 is a rocking cover of the Who's "The Real Me," which received heavy rotation on MTv back in the day. The Headless Children is packed from beginning to end with interesting songs that make you wonder what happened to the simple rock songs these guys used to churn out.

WASP was a band that always rode just under the crest of the Glam Metal wave of the late 1980s. They were too antisocial to gain much radio play and too heavy for many Glam fans. The hairspray, makeup and songs about girls alienated many other metal fans. However, WASP made too much noise to be ignored.

The Ultimate Sin is an album by Ozzy Osbourne. It was released on February 22, 1986, and it was remastered and re-issued on August 22, 1995. This album was certified double platinum on October 26, 1994. This album features guitarist Jake E. Lee (formerly of Mickey Ratt, Rough Cutt and Dio). This is the only Ozzy album to feature bassist Phil Soussan - who wrote the album's U.S. hit single "Shot in the Dark" - and the first to feature drummer Randy Castillo, who has since died due to cancer. Lyrics were largely written by long-time Ozzy bass player Bob Daisley, who was also present during the initial writing sessions. Daisley left after having a disagreement with Ozzy, which led to the hiring of Soussan. He was also not credited as a co-writer on the initial 1986 pressing of the album. This was corrected for each pressing after that.

The Ultimate Sin was Ozzy's highest charting studio album. The RIAA awarded the album Platinum status on May 14 1986, soon after its release; it was awarded Double Platinum status on October 26, 1994.

In April 2002, the album was deleted from the Ozzy catalog and is no longer being reproduced, due to legal issues between Ozzy and Soussan over the song "Shot in the Dark." The most recent issue was the 1995 remastered CD, which, unlike other more recent Osbourne reissues, does not include any bonus tracks. It is, however, still for sale in the iTunes Store.
