Lage Raho Munna Bhai (Hindi: लगे रहो मुन्नाभाई, pronounced [ˈləɡeː ˈɾəhoː mʊnːaːˈbʱaːɪ]; English: Carry on Munna Bhai) is a 2006 Indian musical comedy film directed by Rajkumar Hirani and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. It is the second film in the popular Munna Bhai series of Bollywood. Sanjay Dutt stars in this film as Munna Bhai, a Mumbai (Bombay) underworld don, who begins to see the spirit of Mahatma Gandhi. Through his interactions with the image of Gandhi, Munna Bhai begins to practice what he calls Gandhigiri (Satyagraha, non-violence, and truth) to help ordinary people solve their problems. His sidekick, Circuit, is portrayed by Arshad Warsi. Lage Raho Munna Bhai has had a strong cultural impact in India, popularising Gandhism under Munna Bhai's notion of Gandhigiri. As noted by critics, the film has "stirred the popular imagination," leading to a number of Gandhigiri protests in India and in the United States: "For generations born after Gandhi's assassination, Munnabhai, the eponymous hero of the film, has rendered 'Gandhism' passé and 'Gandhian' arcane. The new buzzword is 'Gandhigiri,' a value, and valuable, addition to the lexicon of a culture suffused with every abominable kind of 'Dadagiri' and 'Goondagiri.' " The film was generally well-received by both critics and the mass audience. It was a box office success and was elevated to a "blockbuster" rating on Box Office India after grossing over Rs. 720 million. It is the recipient of a number of awards, including four National Film Awards. Lage Raho Munna Bhai is the first Hindi film to be shown at the United Nations, and also played to a packed house of mostly French students who "clapped till the credits were finished" during the Tous Les Cinema du Monde section of the 2007 Cannes Film Festival. The Prime Minister of India, Manmohan Singh, praised the film, stating that it "captures Bapu's message about the power of truth and humanism." |

Windows Installer authoring tool enabling developers to create reliable MSI packages that meet the latest Microsoft Windows logo certification guidelines. Extremely easy to use, powerful, fast and lightweight. Windows Installer is becoming the "de facto" software installation technology on Windows. Being preinstalled on the latest Microsoft operating systems, and also bundled with the most popular productivity packages (Office, etc.) this software installer provides a significant number of power features that improve application management and administration. This power doesn't come without pitfalls, and the most important of them all is the complexity. Creating an MSI file requires careful planning and editing of dozens of database tables. Hundreds of pages of documentation must be read, countless lists of rules must be followed. Building a Windows Installer package may take days or even weeks. This is where a MSI creation tool comes to help. Create MSI installs in minutes - Powerful and easy to use Windows Installer authoring tool. Friendly GUI, no strange scripts to learn or arcane database tables to edit. |

#11: E-Books : Wall Street by Doug Henwood |
| |
| The Author: ompeompe | 26 December 2008 | Views: 466 |
| |
In this "down and dirty" diatribe about American finance, journalist and New York radio personality Henwood makes no attempt at a balanced portrayal of Wall Street. He aims to "embarrass official wisdom" and expose the financial world's weaknesses, perhaps too gloatingly. Intemperate phrasing abounds, e.g., "real estate is based on milking wealth from land and tenants." Admittedly, Henwood flails at both the Left and the Right, and he doesn't hide his biases, but he lovingly quotes Keynes and Marx a little too often. Henwood doesn't claim to be offering any practical investment advice; nor does he present any solutions to the problems against which he fulminates. The result is a difficult, divisive, unpleasant, querulous, and uninstructive book that larger business collections might tolerate This book gives a pretty decent macroeconomic view of Wall Street. Henwood explains stocks, bonds, derivatives, currencies, the Federal Reserve, Bretton Woods, the (in)efficiency of markets and many other topics. He then interprets what these things mean from a leftist perspective. The financial world is heavily right wing and accuses the left wing of not understanding how economics work and thus why the right wing is right about economics. This book will demystify acronyms like LIBOR, GDP and CAPM, and explain to you in Wall Street terminology how the rich are robbing the working class in this country (and the world) blind. Henwood's book, like Marx's Capital, is at heart an economic treatise with political ideas sandwiched in between the economic data and analysis. |

#12: E-Books : Day Trading the Currency Market by Kathy Lien |

The currency/foreign exchange (FX) market is by far the largest financial market in the world, with trading volumes surpassing $1.9 trillion a day. Although primarily dominated by a worldwide network of interbank traders, a new era of Internet-based communication technologies has recently allowed individual investors to gain direct access to this popular—and profitable—market. Written by Kathy Lien—chief strategist for the number one online currency broker in the world—Day Trading the Currency Market reveals a variety of technical and fundamental profit-making strategies for trading the currency/FX market, and provides a more detailed look at how this market actually works. Filled with in-depth insight and expert advice, Day Trading the Currency Market can show you how to enter this highly competitive arena with confidence and exit with profits. You will find some interesting and informative content in this book that can be useful in your educational path in Forex. But it is important to keep in mind that the book is written not by a trading entrepreneur but by a representative of one of the largest Forex brokers. To become a successful trader it is essential to recognize the vast difference in agenda between winning traders and brokers. The entire industry is driven by brokers and almost all material available on learning to trade is tied directly or indirectly to the broker industry whose agenda is to teach trading strategies that make the most money for THEM. Because the industry is unregulated, brokers are able to get away with many less than ethical practices. For instance, it is ironic that another reader mentions how Kathy covers the subject of the "carry trade" in detail. |

Unlock the secrets of an ancient charting tool, "A superb exposition of Japanese Candlesticks: the oldest method of technical analysis developed more than 400 years ago. The book offers a thorough review and evaluation of this increasingly popular method of market analysis. A great source of information both for an experienced trader and a novice in this field." The most ancient form of charting, the Japanese candlestick method has become an extremely popular analytical tool among the new generation of traders. However, because of the aura of mysticism surrounding candlesticks and the arcane terminology typically used to describe them, many traders in the West never really learn how to use them properly and exploit their full potential. Profitable Candlestick Trading demystifies candlesticks for today's traders. With the help of numerous real-world examples, Bigalow clearly explains how candlesticks work, how to read them, and how to maximize profits with them. Bigalow shares some of his original candlestick-based trading programs, the same programs which have yielded impressive results for his clients at leading financial firms in the United States and abroad. |

350 pages | 2004-07-31 | PDF | 8,5 MB MIMO (multiple input and multiple output) is the technology that is advancing the wireless industry from Third Generation (3G) to cutting edge Fourth Generation (4G) systems, and this book is the professional engineer's essential guide to MIMO. It takes readers step-by-step from the basics of MIMO through various coding techniques to such advance topics as multiplexing and packet transmission. Practical examples are emphasized and arcane math is kept to a minimum, so field engineers can quickly and thoroughly understand the essentials of MIMO. The book takes a systems view of MIMO technology to help engineers quickly analyze the benefits and drawbacks of any MIMO systems. Professionals find detailed coverage of a critical up-and-coming topic not covered in any other book -- direct interfacing of a CDMA system, such as IS-95 with an OFDM system. This approach helps engineers design systems that can meet the ever-increasing need for higher throughput wireless communication. |
