Audiosurf is a music-adapting puzzle racer where you use your own music to create your own experience. In Audiosurf the player controls a levitating spaceship-like craft similar to those found in Wipeout or F-Zero. The player then maneuvers it down a colorful multi-laned highway, collecting blocks in a manner similar to Klax. The shape, the speed, and the mood of each ride is determined by the song you choose. The ship is controlled either by a mouse, the arrow keys, the number keys, or a Gamepad.

In addition, Audiosurf is one of the first titles to leverage the recently announced Steamworks, offering full support for the Steam Achievements that appear on Steam Community profile pages.
