John Little, "Beginning Body Building - Real Muscle/Real Fast" Mc Graw-Hill | ISBN: 0-07-159554-6 | 193 pages | PDF | 8.3 Mb Body building is probably the healthiest activity that any individual can perform. The scientifi c literature documents that resistance exercise not only serves to induce positive physiological changes but also can help to enhance and maintain our functional ability in later life. While this is all to the good, it remains true that the fi rst reason most people have for working out is to improve their appearance, and in this respect, bodybuilding is without peer in the fi tness world. Running, for example, being an activity that is restricted predominantly to the lower body, cannot signifi cantly improve your upper-body strength, nor can it enhance your fl exibility. Stretching or yoga can enhance your fl exibility, within certain genetically determined limits, but neither can improve your cardiovascular effi ciency to any meaningful degree. |

McGraw-Hill | 2008-02-04 | ISBN: 007154691X | 304 pages | PDF | 3.84 MB The scientific way to lose fat "Crack the Fat-Loss Code brings you the most sensible solution to permanent weight management I have seen." --Frederick C. Hatfield, Ph.D., bestselling author of Bodybuilding: A Scientific Approach, Hardcore Bodybuilding, and Ultimate Sports Nutrition The human body evolved to resist starvation by holding on to fat. No wonder it's hard to lose weight! Now a revolutionary lifestyle plan finally cracks the code for efficient fat loss. Developed by leading nutrition specialist Wendy Chant, the plan is scientifically designed to help you "outsmart" your body's natural cycles for storing and burning calories. The plan teaches you to boost your metabolism through "macro-patterning"--a simple routine of alternating carb-up, carb-down, and baseline days. There are even built-in cheat days, so you can enjoy the foods you love. Once you get your eating habits on schedule, you'll find that you can lose weight . . . for good. |

#8: E-Books : Health and Bodybuilding - Bigger Muscles in 42 Days |
 |

ISBN : 978-0399517068 | 145 pages | PDF | 12.5 Mb This book is not for the beginner as it does not present basic conditioning for someone starting from scratch. For more advanced lifters, the suggestions in the book might be fun. The contra-lateral theory he presents is nearly laughable though. Darden trains and tracks the progress of two people using the routine described in "42 days". I wish he tracked a larger group of persons and those who are a little more 'ordinary'. He trains one person who is already an accomplished amateur bodybuilder and another guy who is 18, of a hefty frame, and an athlete. I would like to see Darden train someone who isn't a newbie, but who also isn't already a bodybuilder. I would also like to see this routine work on persons of slimmer build and who have a difficult time gaining weight. |
