: 1![]() Disney Ducktales Vol 1 [Disc 3] DVDRip | English | AVI | XviD | 688x384 | 03:03:32 | MP3 192kbps | 1.55Gb Release Date: November 8, 2005 | Genre: Animation, Comedy For several years now, "DuckTales" reruns have been missing from television or at best relegated to odd hours on the digital cable network Toon Disney. Revisiting the series for the first time in over a decade proved to quite a pleasant experience for me. Any aging undergone since last watching "DuckTales" is bound to have had a much greater effect on viewers than the show. It holds up as diverting, involving, and a generally good time. For the purposes of this review, I received the DVD less than a week before release date, which meant plowing through the more than ten hours of episodes as quickly as possible. Even in this less than leisurely viewing fashion, these episodes provided entertainment above and beyond what you would expect of a daily cartoon series created in 1987 or today. #2: Music : Yngwie Johann Malmsteen - Concerto Suite for Electric Guitar and Orchestra in E Flat Minor Op. 1 (+TAB GUITARS)

: 3![]() 2007 digitally remastered reissue of this ambitious 1998 outing by Heavy Metal guitar virtuoso Yngwie J. Malmsteen presents the skilled six-string player performing classical compositions. The album is a collaboration by the esteemed Swedish heavy metal guitarist with the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra in which they perform classical works under the supervision and arrangement of ex-Rainbow keyboardist David Rosenthal. 12 tracks total. The full title is 'Concerto Suite For Electric Guitar And Orchestra In E Flat Minor Op. 1 - Millennium'. EXCLUSIVE YNGWIE'S TAB "Concerto Suite for Electric Guitar" INSIDE, ADDED BY ME!!!..Only for dl4all members! The scope of this project is incredible. Play classical guitar on an electric guitar with a quality symphony backing you. The production is eloquent in that the guitar and the symphony compliment one another, and Yngwie's playing is magnificent. You don't hear guys like Vai or Satriani or Johnson or Blackmore saying anything but glowing things about Malmsteen. This schtick about him only being a technician is not only wrong, it is short sighted. Playing classical music is about bringing the music alive... not about innovating NEW music or phraseology. That's why it's called "classical." No one else in the world could have pulled this off and Yngwie deserves all the credit that can be mustered. And to compare this effort to Metallica? With all due respect to Metallica... get serious. |
