The latest eJay offering is built with a few natty extras for those who want to take music production further. Techno eJay 4 is concerned with electronic dance music and thus contains 4,000 samples to play around with. The futuristic techno sound is reinforced by a robotic interface full of laser beams, neon glows and moving graphics. It looks impressive but finding your way around can be tough. As well as the familiar audio editor, there are new inclusions, such as a Bass Generator for creating bass patterns, a virtual synthesiser and a vocoder, which allows you to combine your own typed text with a computerised voice. You can also use the 3D VJ Box to create space-age videos to accompany your tunes.Perhaps the handiest addition is the Time&Tune feature, which adjusts the tempo of any imported sound sample, allowing you to fit it perfectly into your song. A full installation takes up around 800Mb of hard disk space, but this includes all audio and video samples. There are enough new features for eJay fans to get noisy about. |

IZotope Spectron VST DX AS RTAS HTDM v1.14 | 18.48 MB Spectron is the next generation of spectral effect plug-ins allowing unmatched control over audio by frequency. Now, take your mixed drum track and add delay to the snare, or send the hi-hat panning back and forth. Give your guitar a delay, but only on the high notes. Make your bass ring down low, but stay clear and dry up high. For effects that are subtle or out of this world, Spectron is the one-stop spectral toolbox. Spectron splits audio into thousands of frequency bands, applies independent delay, morph, filter and pan effects, and then resynthesizes the processed audio into an entirely new sound. Using this unique control over individual frequencies, Spectron can sound like a phaser, chorus, vocoder and many new classes of effects. Spectron is perfect for radio spots, loop and sample manipulation, sound effect design, and electronic & dance music production. |

Jennifer Batten is an American guitarist who first received word-of-mouth attention that eventually led guitar magazines to take notice of her highly original approach to the electric guitar. On Guitar Player Monthly's premier compilation CD, John Stix wrote, "It was Jennifer's version of John Coltrane's "Giant Steps" that was considered by her peers the "scariest and most requested cut on the disc." At one point Batten was in six different bands playing many genres including rock, metal, fusion and funk. She was selected from over 100 guitarists to play in Michael Jackson's band on his one and a half year world tour. She played for a total of 4.5 million people on Jackson's first solo tour, the Bad Tour. In the following years she joined Michael on his "Dangerous Tour" as well as 1997's "HIStory Tour", traveling to such countries as South Africa and India. She also joined him in Super Bowl XXVII's half time entertainment which aired to the largest audience in television history (1.5 billion) In January '93, she joined Jackson to partake in Superbowl XXVII's half time entertainment which aired to one and half billion people in 80 nations. It was the largest audience in television history. |
