| |
While a majority of trading systems incorporate only existing or past pricing activity into their simulations, the most successful ones use forecasting methods to establish future activity. Now, Ed Gately, a leading computerized trading systems developer, creates a groundbreaking approach to forecasting that includes setting price and time targets to anticipate future price movements—an essential step in reducing risk, increasing reaction time, and yielding greater returns. With detailed coverage of such important targeting techniques as Fibonacci numbers, Fibonacci ratios, and cycle analysis, as well as support/resistance, moving average and Raff channels, Bollinger bands, and trendlines, Forecasting Profits Using Price & Time enables you to integrate today's most accurate computerized forecasting models into your current system. Once in place, these techniques can be combined to obtain confirmation, thereby strengthening reliability. These key concepts for maximizing profits over short periods of time include: * Forecasting price movements of securities by using technical analysis. * Setting risk objectives and establishing stop loss levels. * Confirming change of trend with moving averages, candlesticks, and other methods of plotting price movement. * Using Fibonacci, Gann's, Carolan's, and other number series to target future prices and establish timing of future changes in trend. Detailed charts and graphs, as well as helpful models that can be used to test individual systems before engaging in actual trades, make this an indispensable resource for learning how to forecast accurately—and successfully. |

#8: E-Books : Sentiment in the Forex Market by Jamie Saettele |
 |
| |
| The Author: ompeompe | 2 January 2009 | Views: 1272 |
|
|
| |
Crowds move markets and at major market turning points, the crowds are almost always wrong. When crowd sentiment is overwhelmingly positive or overwhelmingly negative – it's a signal that the trend is exhausted and the market is ready to move powerfully in the opposite direction. Sentiment has long been a tool used by equity, futures, and options traders. In Sentiment in the Forex Market, FXCM analyst Jaime Saettele applies sentiment analysis to the currency market, using both traditional and new sentiment indicators, including: Commitment of Traders reports; time cycles; pivot points; oscillators; and Fibonacci time and price ratios. He also explains how to interpret news coverage of the markets to get a sense of when participants have become overly bullish or bearish. Saettele points out that several famous traders such as George Soros and Robert Prechter made huge profits by identifying shifts in crowd sentiment at major market turning points. Many individual traders lose money in the currency market, Saettele asserts, because they are too short-term oriented and trade impulsively. He believes retail traders would be much more successful if they adopted a longer-term, contrarian approach, utilizing sentiment indicators to position themselves at the beginning points of major trends. With a number of firms now offering retail traders direct access to the interbank foreign exchange market, participation in the FX market has grown substantially. As a result, the amount of technical and fundamental information available to traders has increased exponentially in recent years. An area that has failed to receive the same amount of attention is sentiment. |

#9: E-Books : Elliot Wave Unveiled - Traders World Magazine |

Elliott Wave TheoryElliott Wave Theory interprets market actions in terms of recurrent price structures obedient to the Fibonacci sequence. Basically, Market cycles are composed of two major types of Wave : Impulse Wave and Corrective Wave. For every impulse wave, it can be sub-divided into 5 - wave structure (1-2-3-4-5), while for corrective wave, it can be sub-divided into 3 - wave structures (a-b-c). Surfer's Waves within WaveAn important feature of Elliott Wave is that they are fractal in nature. 'Fractal' means market structure are built from similar patterns on a larger or smaller scales. Therefore, we can count the wave on a long-term yearly market chart as well as short-term hourly market chart. |

It should prove valuable to those already practicing technical analysis and who want to take their trading to the next level. The book lays out a fairly simple mechanical system which can be implemented immediately to improve one's bottom line. Trading the financial markets is extremely difficult, but with the right approach, traders can achieve success. Nobody knows this better than authors Larry Pesavento and Leslie Jouflas, both traders and educators of traders, who have consistently used pattern recognition to capture profits from the markets. In Trade What You See, Pesavento and Jouflas show traders how to identify patterns as they are developing and exactly where to place entry and exit orders. While some patterns derive from the techniques of Wall Street's earliest traders and other patterns reflect Pesavento's emphasis on the geometry of market movements and Fibonacci numbers.. Filled with hard-won knowledge gained through years of market experience, Trade What You Seeoutlines both a practical and sophisticated approach to trading that will be of interest to both novice and seasoned traders alike. "Trade What You See" is an excellent guide to help traders filter through market volatility and media hype. Jouflas' and Pesavento's latest offering is a concise overview of how to look at the markets and identify high probability, low risk trade opportunities. From Fibonacci ratios, AB=CD patterns, to trade management and trading plan, any trader can supplement their own trading style with the basic trade guidelines outlined in this book. |

#12: E-Books : Elliot Wave Books and Videos |

If you are looking for a general introduction to Elliott Wave theory and practice, then this book is definetly not for you. In that case, I rather suggest starting with Prechter's "Elliott Wave Principle" from 1979. If you are prepared to spend a lot of time working through the large number of conditions contained within this book, however, (especially using your own data) you will find this a most rewarding endeavor. Wave theory is not for the faint-hearted, it requires a lot of patience and application to give you the building blocks to come up with a view of the market. This Rar, you will find: Mastering Elliott Waves by Glenn Neely, Elliot Waves by Rich Swannell and Elliot Waves - A Comprehensive Course On The Waves. Also, I added 3 videos These books are actually for those who want to "master" the Elliott wave theory. Since Fibonacci numbers and golden ratio are the most important parts of the wave theory, These books are the best about how to apply Elliot Wavei techniques on a price chart. Not only the price distance, but the time elapsed to form the waves are dependant with the Fibonacci numbers theory and these books will teache you how to use them. |

#15: E-Books : Planetary Harmonics of Speculative Markets by Larry Pesavento |
 |
| |
| The Author: ompeompe | 2 December 2008 | Views: 1093 |
|
|
| |
This book provides absolutely phenomenal trend change dates, applies George Bayer's Secrets of Forecasting Prices to financial markets, proves the validity of planetary harmonics, and illustrates hidden Fibonacci ratios. It was written for 5 reasons: (1) The financial community has become more receptive to the possibility of a connection between planetary events and price activity (fear and greed). (2) George Bayer was virtually unknown for more than 40 years and now is the time that this man's research into astro-harmonics should become part of the public domain. (3) To illustrate the power and accuracy of planetary harmonics and stimulate your thoughts on the subject. (4) It allows us to share some of our continuing research and build a network of very intuitive traders with some incredible approaches to the market. (5) To give you the exact dates of certain events to 1995. An easy-to-read and entertaining book written by the star-trader Larry Pesavento, with many case studies. |

#17: E-Books : Fibonacci and Gann Applications in Financial Markets by George MacLean |
 |
| |
| The Author: ompeompe | 23 November 2008 | Views: 1509 |
|
|
| |
There are many books covering Fibonacci from an artistic and historical point of view and almost as many suggesting that Fibonacci retracements and numbers can be successfully applied to financial market time series. What is missing is a book that addresses the common errors in using screen based Fibonacci (and Gann and other tools). The book is a critical exploration of Fibonacci numbers, retracements, projections, timeframes and fanlines and their current usage within the financial markets by technical analysts. Although they can be extremely effective analytical tools when used appropriately, mistakes in usage can be extremely costly from a financial and credibility viewpoint. George MacLean takes a brief look at the history of Fibonacci and Gann, before providing a full account of their applications in financial markets, including fixed income, equity, foreign exchange, commodities and indexes. In particular, he draws attention to the overuse and misuse of easily applied computer packages available to professional and amateur traders. It is great to see a new book dedicated to the understanding of such classical technical methods. In an age where computerized trading has become the norm rather than the exception, it is essential that people don't forget the power of these ancient techniques and their complete relevance to modern markets. |

#22: E-Books : The Da Vinci Code (Book&Audio) |

The story tells the investigation started by symbolist Robert Langdon and a good-looking cryptologist, Sophie Neveu, around the murder of a Museum Louvre's curator. In fact, the unfortunate murdered man was Sophie's grandfather, and the corpse was found with a series of symbols and codes, like a pentagram and a Fibonacci number sequence. But police detective Fache will begin to chase Langdon, who escapes after receiving a warning about the captain's real intentions. Sophie has with her a kind of key with dots and number 24 engraved on it, which opens to her and Langdon a big complex investigation that involves a supposedly heretic theory: Jesus Christ and Mary Magdalene were, in fact, a couple who produced a daughter named Sara. A millenarian sect called The Priory of Sion has kept for centuries the secret of that matter. A masochist and kind of psychopath albino monk, Sibilas, an Opus Dei member, will chase Langdon and Sophie as well, in order to impede that they solve the mystery of Christ and Mary Magdalene, and also the real meaning and location of the Holy Grail. A passionate British researcher, will help Langdon in his quest, revealing to them several symbolisms in Da Vinci's master work The Last Supper, traveling to mythical places in the UK, such as The Church Temple, where it is believed that a group of Templars Knights are buried, and Sir Isaac Newton's tomb at Westminster Abbey, where are located some of the main keys to solve the Holy Grail's mystery |
