Portable Mandala Painter 3 | 142 Mb Even the prettiest flower on earth is actually a great combination of simpler shapes (petals), symmetrically repeated around the circle. This is also true about other «tricky» masterpieces — snowflakes, shining stars, and even the most unrealistic designs capturing our eye through the glass of a kaleidoscope. Too sad — all of those exciting figures soon just pass away, and the best we can do about that is enjoy it while it’s here, as we can’t save, refresh or preserve it for the future. Well, now we can, as we’ve got Mandala Painter. This is a high-end Mandala drawing program for Mandala designers and everyone who just likes creating kaleidoscopic images. It’s a Photoshop-like layer-based drawing tool aimed specially to Mandala painting. The software includes a rich symbol library collected for the decoration: petals, leaves, spheres, etc. It lets you create your own multipliers, such as spirals, tiling, etc and draws the final rotating image for you automatically, employing powerful mirroring tools. The images can be exchanged with other painting applications via clipboard, exported directly do Adobe Photoshop, saved to an image file of a common format or uploaded to the online Mandala gallery. Working with Mandala Painter is a lot of fun on its own. With a few mouse clicks, you can switch the appearance of your workspace, choosing from dozens of skins, each one of which can be customized to meet your demands. |

#11: E-Books : Drawing The Human Head, by Burne Hogarth |

|

Drawing The Human Head, by Burne Hogarth Watson-Guptill Pubns | June 1965 | English | ISBN: 0823013758 | PDF | 160 Pages | 25,2 Mb Description : In 300 extraordinary drawings, Hogarth shows how to draw the head from every angle, age the face from infancy to old age, and delineate every feature and wrinkle. Although taking a formal course of study in human anatomy will give you greater depth in drawing the human head as far as proportion is concerned, this book does go into more depth than a course would in terms of facial features. Burne is of the old school in the sense that he probably learned such terms as "dolichocephalic" and "brachiocephalic" in the earlier part of this century, when these labels were commonly applied to ethnic groups. But he ably avoids this obsolete view by demonstrating these head types have examples in a variety of racial and ethnic groups. This very variety of ethnic facial examples is the greatest strength of the book. |

#15: E-Books : Digital Scanning and Photography |

Digital Scanning and Photography Digital Scanning and Photography (Eu-Independent) by Dan GookinPublisher: Microsoft Press | Number Of Pages: 192 | Publication Date: 2000-09-02 ISBN-10: 0735610126 | PDF | 1 Mb Dan Gookin explains the latest consumer trend in PCs in Digital Scanning and Photography: specifically, how to choose, buy, con figure, and use scanners and digital cameras. The book addresses both Microsoft Windows and the Mac OS, and general information (what resolution is) intermingles with specific instructions (how to resize an image in Adobe PhotoDeluxe). The illustrator of this book deserves great praise. The technical drawings, which showcase such details as where you plug cables into a scanner, are razor sharp and almost photo-realistic. Maybe they're ink-enhanced photographs--it's hard to tell; but, in any case, they're far better than the grainy photos that usually populate books that have a hardware angle. |

Asymptote is a powerful descriptive vector graphics language that provides a natural coordinate-based framework for technical drawing. Labels and equations are typeset with LaTeX, for high-quality PostScript output. A major advantage of Asymptote over other graphics packages is that it is a programming language, as opposed to just a graphics program. |

#19: E-Books : The Future of the Internet And How to Stop It |

The Future of the Internet And How to Stop It by Jonathan Zittrain | English | 2009 | ISBN-10: 0300151241 | 351 Pages | PDF | 5.5 MB This extraordinary book explains the engine that has catapulted the Internet from backwater to ubiquity?and reveals that it is sputtering precisely because of its runaway success. With the unwitting help of its users, the generative Internet is on a path to a lockdown, ending its cycle of innovation?and facilitating unsettling new kinds of control. IPods, iPhones, Xboxes, and TiVos represent the first wave of Internet-centered products that can?t be easily modified by anyone except their vendors or selected partners. These ?tethered appliances? have already been used in remarkable but little-known ways: car GPS systems have been recon figured at the demand of law enforcement to eavesdrop on the occupants at all times, and digital video recorders have been ordered to self-destruct thanks to a lawsuit against the manufacturer thousands of miles away. New Web 2.0 platforms like Google mash-ups and Facebook are rightly touted?but their applications can be similarly monitored and eliminated from a central source. As tethered appliances and applications eclipse the PC, the very nature of the Internet?its ?generativity,? or innovative character?is at risk. The Internet?s current trajectory is one of lost opportunity. Its salvation, Zittrain argues, lies in the hands of its millions of users. Drawing on generative technologies like Wikipedia that have so far survived their own successes, this book shows how to develop new technologies and social structures that allow users to work creatively and collaboratively, participate in solutions, and become true |

#22: E-Books : Dynamic Wrinkles and Drapery: Solutions for Drawing the Clothed Figure |
 |
| |
| The Author: al67ex | 8 August 2008 | Views: 1973 |
|
|
| |
Watson-Guptill | 144 pages | PDF | 27,8 MB As most Hogarth's books, this one is not at the least descriptive. The drawings are a bit more frequent, and you may find it useful. The author provides 4 decent approaches to the illustration of wrinkles in different situations, mostly differenting dependent on the type of physical movement the character (human, in all cases) makes. Most of the book talks about drapery, but there is some information on how to apply the same principles onto skin. This is a must-have for a character designer, whether you work in 2D or 3D. It will provide a beginning artist with the basic understanding of the dynamics of drapery and clothes, but it won't be much use for a medium-to-experienced studio artist, especially when she/he draws from life. |
