Santana - Santana (Remastered) 2007 | Mp3 | 8 Tracks | 54 MBSantana is the first album from the rock artist Santana. I’m sure many people are fans of him. Santana was ranked number 150 on Rolling Stone magazine’s list of the 500 greatest albums of all time. New remaster from the original master tapes on limited edition 24-Karat Gold-CD Santana is the debut album released 1969 of the San Francisco rock group Santana. The album features the line-up of Carlos Santana (guitar, vocals), Gregg Rolie (organ, piano, vocals), David Brown (bass guitar), Michael Shrieve (drums), Michael Carabello (timbales, congas, percussion), and Jose ‘Chepito’ Areas (timbales, congas, percussion). It is a release of largely instrumental music, recorded by what was originally a purely free-form jam band. At the suggestion of manager Bill Graham, the band took to writing more conventional songs for more impact, but managed to retain the essence of improvisation in the music. |

The soundtrack features score and 6 songs composed by A. R. Rahman, with lyrics in the Tamil language by Vairamuthu. This soundtrack was revolutionary in that it changed the face of Tamil Film music in 1992, announcing the arrival of Rahman as a potent force in the Indian music scene. He used many instruments and grand arrangements to generate an epic sound to the songs. Songs such as "Rukkumani" had a loud thumping feel and became ingrained in pop culture. Also many new singers were introduced to the Tamil music scene. Time magazine's noted film critic, Richard Corliss stated that the "astonishing debut work parades Rahman's gift for alchemizing outside influences until they are totally Tamil, totally Rahman. Including the album on a list of Time magazine's Top 100 soundtracks of all time in 2005, he admitted to failing to properly check facts on a lyrics website when describing two songs using dubbed Hindi titles on his article. The soundtrack also found success in its many dubbed versions released in subsequent years. Released on Lahari, the soundtrack for Roja proved immensely popular. |

Audio CD (March 15, 2004) Original Release Date: February 3, 2004 Label: Pony Canyon Japan Japanese exclusive compilation featuring 15 instrumental tracks by the guitar virtuoso. Canyon. 2004. This 15-track CD is a compilation of previously released material covering the 1994 to 2000 era, but features instrumental-only tracks (actually, track 9 isn't instrumental due to the over-and-over chanting of the word "Takada"...) The japanese market has been very good to Yngwie, and this compilation obviously demonstrates that fact (check out how many compilations of his material have been released over there... astonishing!) The CD covers a wide spectrum of intensities, but excludes tracks from the earlier part of his career (the "Polydor" era), which is a shame... tracks from the early albums like "Trilogy" and "As Above, So Below" would have been fantastic additions to this CD. |

If you were a fan of heavy metal in the 80's then this album was the soundtrack to your Saturday night out with the guys. There is just so much on this album to rave about, rocks from start to finish. Perhaps this album is the greatest achievement in the history of music, undoubtedly the greatest songs to grace mankind. Excellent songs where each member shines in his unique contribution. Fast powerful bass by Harris, awesome drums by McBrain, divine super melodies and riff guitars by Smith and Murray, with the strong great vocals of Bruce Dickinson. This is one of Maiden's all-time best albums and just a crowning achievement. A must for any true metal fan! Powerslave is the fifth studio album by the British heavy metal band Iron Maiden, released on September 3, 1984 on EMI in Europe and its sister label Capitol Records in the US (it was re-released by Sanctuary/Columbia Records in the US in 2002). It is notable for its Egyptian theme displayed in the album art, as well in the title track's musical style. It contains a musical re-telling of Samuel Taylor Coleridge's "Rime of the Ancient Mariner", which uses pieces of the original poem as lyrics, and is the longest song Iron Maiden have ever recorded at a length of 13 minutes and 38 seconds. The album is also notable amongst the band's albums as being the first album to feature the same lineup as the previous one. As of 2008, this is the last of the band's albums to contain an instrumental track: "Losfer Words (Big 'Orra)." |

"SHUT UP – WE KNOW YOU CAN PLAY!” This is a Video instruction how to play "For The Love of God" note by note in PASSION AND WARFARE Album Widely acclaimed as his best album, Passion and Warfare finds Steve Vai coming into his own as a composer, as well as bypassing vocals almost entirely. His style isn't quite as derivative of influences Frank Zappa and Joe Satriani as it was six years earlier on Flex-able; while some of Vai's sense of humor is still evident on tracks like the cock rock strut of "The Audience Is Listening," it is mostly replaced by a spiritual reflectiveness on ballads like "For the Love of God" and "Blue Powder" and dignified, committed rockers like "I Would Love To" and "Liberty." Vai is a more distinguished composer than most of his guitar-shredder contemporaries, and rather than simply showing off his technique, he isn't afraid to experiment or take chances in his playing. Thus, Passion and Warfare is arguably the richest and best hard rock guitar-virtuoso album of the '80s. Steve Vai (SV) took time out from talking to muso mags to shoot the breeze with me backstage at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire on 4 June 1997. Mike Keneally (MK) also joined us on the fat floating sofa in Steve’s dressing room. |

MP3 | 07 Tracks | 320 KBPS | Genre: Progressive Rock | 92 MB With Moving Pictures, Rush's complex songwriting and musical virtuosity reached new heights. It's that rarest of creatures, a highly listenable progressive-rock album; even the all- instrumental "YYZ" is of interest to listeners besides musicians. The highlight of the album is "Limelight"; like many progressive-rock bands, Rush writes songs about the experience of being on-stage. The result is impressive, with almost orchestral arrangements that never overwhelm the actual music. "Tom Sawyer," another classic, is on this album, as well as the science-fiction-meets-road-movie "Red Barchetta," the epic "The Camera Eye," the cautionary "Witch Hunt," and "Vital Signs," which takes advantage of the budding digital sound technology available at the time the album was recorded. This is probably Rush's best album; it's definitely their most accessible. Tracklist: 1. "Tom Sawyer" – 4:33 2. "Red Barchetta" – 6:06 3. "YYZ" ( Instrumental) – 4:24 4. "Limelight" – 4:19 5. "The Camera Eye" – 10:56 6. "Witch Hunt (Part III of Fear)" – 4:43 7. "Vital Signs" – 4:43 |

Indonesia is culturally diverse, and every one of the 18,000 islands has its own cultural and artistic history and character. This results hundreds of different forms of music, which often accompanies dance and theater. The musics of Java, Sumatra, Bali, Flores and other islands have been documented and recorded, and research by Indonesian and international scholars is ongoing. Kroncong has been evolving since the arrival of the Portuguese, who brought with them European instruments. By the early 1900s, it was considered a low-class urban music. This changed in the 1930s, when the rising Indonesian film industry began incorporating kroncong, and then even more so in the mid- to late 1940s, when it became associated with the struggle for independence. Kroncong (pronounced "kronchong") is the name of a ukulele-type instrument and an Indonesian musical style that typically makes use of the kroncong, a flute, and a female singer. An amazing work by an amazing musician. A lot of people pigeonhole Steve Vai into being just another guitarist, a relic of the shred-happy '80s. But take another listen. Forget his stints in Alcatrazz and Whitesnake, forget that ridiculous triple-necked heart guitar that backed David Lee Roth, and listen to Vai's own music, made on his own terms. Yes, he is an incredibly talented guitarist, but he's also much more, a true modern-day composer. No matter how off-the-wall his songs seem, there's an amazing musical quality and deep spirituality that underscores every note in his truly amazing body of work. The first phase is pure magic, especially the Fire Garden Suite. His lyrics are a little corny in some of the tracks in phase 2, but his voice, while not the most beautiful in the world, fits every song perfectly. In closing, this is an amazing album in both its scope and its execution, giving the listener a glimpse at the many sides of Steve Vai, the man. This is a wonderful album. So much melody, so many twists and turns, so much fun. A definite must-have; This album recommended highly enough |

Extreme is a US Rock band that achieved popularity in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Some of Extreme's influences, Queen and Van Halen (the latter of which Gary Cherone would eventually join and later leave), are readily apparent from their music's multi-part vocal harmonies and electric guitar tone and instrumental techniques. The band lends the listener a sound that blends the genre of glam metal with the shredding guitar work of thrash metal. Being asked about their style, Extreme categorized their music as 'Funky Metal'. Extreme has released four studio albums, two EPs (in Japan) and two compilations since its formation. The band was one of the most successful of those from the early 1990s, selling over 10 million albums worldwide. Extreme rose to fame with its 1990 release Pornograffitti, which peaked at #10 on the Billboard 200. Saudades de Rock (which roughly translates from Portuguese as "Nostalgic Yearning for Rock") is Extreme's fifth studio album that was released on August 4, 2008. It is the band's first album of new material since 1995's Waiting for the Punchline, and also their first release with new drummer Kevin Figueiredo. |

This is the first Maiden album after Di'anno left them, holds great nostalgic value... This album was when Maiden was a lot tougher and more criminal, a flawless classic Iron Maiden album with the whole band in top form and giving one of the best performances of their lives. Di'Anno's vocals especially stand out here. "Killers" is a metal classic, it's certainly a worthy addition to your collection. THE BAND: Steve Harris (bass), Paul Di'Anno (vocals), Dave Murray (guitar), Adrian Smith (guitar), Clive Burr (drums), 11 tracks clocking in at approximately 42 minutes. All songs written by bassist Steve Harris and sharing credits with Murray and Di'Anno on one song each. The best of the two albums with DiAnno. With Adrian Smith joining the band one hears the great fusion of musical talent with Dave Murray making the band one of the best in having essentially two lead guitars. Just a great collaboration between the two guitarists. Better musically and lyricall than their starter album, this album has some great songs such as 'Wrath Child' and 'Killers.' 'Prodigal Son' has to be one of the greatest rock ballads of British New Wave metal: great lyrics and just an excellent instrumental arrangement. |

Released October 14, 2008 Genre Neo-classical metal, Heavy metal, Power metal Length 66:09 Label Rising Force, Koch Producer Yngwie Malmsteen Perpetual Flame is an all-new studio album by guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen and his group Rising Force, released on October 13, 2008 in Europe and on October 14, 2008 in the U.S.A. and Canada. It is his first album since 2005's Unleash the Fury and the first with ex-Judas Priest and Iced Earth singer Tim "Ripper" Owens. The album also features famed keyboardist Derek Sherinian on keyboards. The album was also produced by Malmsteen himself, who also served as engineer, and was mixed by Roy Z (of Bruce Dickinson and Halford fame). Mysteriously, lyrics were printed in the insert of Perpetual Flame for a song entitled "Tied of Desire." The lyrics are about not giving up, and of a Perpetual fire, a flame still burning; themes that seem to go with the title of the album. As of now it is unclear if this was a mistake or if this was purely intentional. The eleventh song on the album is spelled in three different ways. On the back of the album, the song is called "Leventh Hour", while on the back of the booklet the song's title is "Eleventh Hour". Finally, inside the booklet the song is called "The Eleventh Hour". The title on the back cover is most certainly misspelled. Tags: Yngwie Malmsteen, Music |

This software opens with a pretty bird flying towards a tree where the familiar Reader Rabbit makes his home. Once there, we discover that Mat the Mouse has come to call. Reader Rabbit helps Mat hop into a magical book that takes her to an even more magical land filled with surprises. There are a number of fun activities in this sharp software program designed especially for the youngest of children: Sky Shapers: Kids pick up shapes with their mouse and plop them into the correct geometric slots. When the shape puzzle is complete, it transforms into pleasing items (like castles and ducks) that animate with accompaniment by short but sweet little songs. Peek-a-Boo Zoo: Everything is dark, but some eyes start to blink and an animal sound is then heard. Swipe your mouse over the area with your flashlight cursor and you can uncover the animal you suspect is hiding there! In Rainbow Rock, kids need only swipe the mouse to be rewarded with a trail of color, filling in the many coloring book pages that, of course, come to life when they are complete! Your child's name in big letters will appear in one of the coloring book screens. Follow-Me-Theater provides a chance for kids to watch Reader Rabbit do fingerplays as familiar songs like Two Little Bluebirds, The Itsy Bitsy Spider, and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star are sung. Chances are, your toddler will want to join in on the fun! |
