A while ago I posted the DVDRip which was in Cantonese. Today DvF have released the DUBBED version of it. You dediced which one you want. Shinjuku Incident is an Hong Kong crime drama directed by Tung-Shing Yee. The movie stars the well known Jackie Chan in the leading role. I still haven’t had the chance to take a look at this but surely will soon.

Part Jackie Chan promo, part China studio tour, "Looking for Jackie" is a cameo-packed swing through the mainland's industry via the slapdash plot of a teen martial-arts student trying to track down the superstar in Beijing. With Chan himself fronting at beginning and end with some of his old buddies, and a host of local names in the middle of the sandwich, the pic looks set for plenty of hype on its July 7 release in China. Offshore, this amiable family pic is vid fodder beyond a few select Asian markets.

As a film which is actually about martial arts, it is hard to fault the pedigree of “Wushu – The Young Generation”. Aimed at introducing a new and highly talented bunch of experts, the film also stars the legendary Sammo Hung, and was produced by none other than Jackie Chan. It was directed by Antony Szeto, previously responsible for the fantasy animation “Dragonblade”, and who also provides the action choreography. Concentrating on the positive aspects of wushu and its role as a competition sport, the film was unsurprisingly officially endorsed by the Director General of the State General Administration of Sport, the top governing sports body in China. Thankfully, this doesn’t translate into the film being a too patriotic or flag waving affair, with plenty of action and an upbeat focus on the theme of friendship.

General Meng Yi is tasked to escort the Korean Princess Ok-Soo from her homeland of Korea to China, where she will become a concubine of the Qin Emperor. On their journey from Korea, she falls into constant dangers. Especially from a Korean general, who wants both to save her from being a concubine and to marry her. Each time she was rescued from the general by Meng Yi. Eventually, the princess had fallen in love with Meng Yi, and had no problem displaying her feelings to him. However, Meng Yi honors his duty to the Qin Emperor, and successfully completed his mission.
