Jada is the faith based story of a woman whose life becomes chaotic when her husband is killed in a questionable car accident. Her once-comfortable middle-class lifestyle comes crashing down when an insurance company labels the accident a suicide and refuses to pay her benefits as the survivor. As a result, Jada (Sienna Goines) and her two teenage children Jasmine and Jamal, become homeless and have to live in their car until the pastor of a local church, the Rev. Terrence Mayweather (Clifton Powell), comes to their aid. The family finds shelter in a low-income housing project, but Jamal becomes entangled in the neighborhood gang. Throughout the ordeal, Jada's unwavering faith in God keeps the family together. An unlikely savior arrives in the person of Simon Williams (Rockmond Dunbar), who has been released from prison on the Reverend Mayweather's strong recommendation. Simon becomes a mentor to Jamal in an attempt to steer him away from the gang, but tensions are high between Simon and the head of the gang and Jamal is faced with a life changing decision. Will he choose the streets or will he choose God?

The album was originally scheduled to be released in the summer of 2007 under the name The Next Thing, but was then pushed back to November 2008.Sean Paul told MTV that he wants to be less focused on party songs such as Get Busy, We Be Burnin’, and Temperature. He also revealed some of the song titles that will be on the album: “Don’t Tease Me”, “Press It Up”, “Lift It”, “She Want Me”, “Lately”, “Hold My Hand”, “Pepperpot”, “Now That I Got You”, “Birthday Suit” and “She Wanna Be Down”.

The last Bob Marley and the Wailers tour in 1980 attracted the largest audiences at that time for any musical act in Europe.

On Thursday May 21, 1981, the Hon. Robert Nesta Marley O.M. was given an official funeral by the people of Jamaica. Following the service - attended by both the Prime Minister and the Leader of the Opposition - Marley’s body was taken to his birthplace at Nine Mile, on the north of the island, where it now rests in a mausoleum. Bob Marley was 36-years-old. His legend, however, has conquered the years.
