: 10![]() The Terrans have been at war with the Gammulan race for years. In an attempt to change the tide of war and take the battle to the enemy the Terran military body, Galactic Command (GALCOM), has launched an all out attack on the Gammulan homeworlds. The events that take place in Angle Of Attack occur during the final days of the air campaign of the assault on LV-115 - an important planet used by the Gammulans for military purposes and as a staging area for their assault on GALCOM forces. The GALCOM forces, locked in a lopsided air campaign, made the decision to load the ‘planet killer’ R.A.N.D.O.M. weapon aboard the GCV-Excalibur for its ill-fated mission. : 17![]() Sins of a Solar Empire is a science fiction real-time strategy computer game developed by Ironclad Games and published by Stardock Entertainment for Microsoft Windows computers. The game was released on February 4, 2008, and its first content expansion titled Entrenchment was released as a download on February 25, 2009. Sins is a real-time strategy (RTS) game that incorporates some elements from 4X strategy games; promotional materials describe it as "RT4X. Sins of a Solar Empire is a space-bound game. The playing field is a 3D web of planets and other celestial objects in the orbital plane of one or more stars. It features a sandbox mode, allowing the player to choose different types of solar systems to unlock achievements. Players can conquer neighboring planets and explore distant star systems in a "massively scaled, fully 3D environment featuring entire galaxies, orbiting planets, clusters of asteroids, space dust and radiant stars." Notably, there is no single-player campaign mode, but games can be played against AI opponents offline and other players online. Ironclad Director Blair Fraser asserted that the game's "Iron engine" is specially designed with new technologies that allow it to handle very large differences in size, scale, and distance The game was awarded the title "Best Strategy Game of the Year 2008" by X-Play and GameTrailers, and the title "Best PC Game of the Year" by IGN. : 12![]() F22 Lightning 3 | 370 MB : Rapidshare : 8 links F-22 is a series of combat flight simulation computer games from NovaLogic, produced only for the PC. It is based on the F-22 Raptor produced by Lockheed Martin. The third game of the series was released on May 25, 1999 and was successor of earlier game F-22 Lightning II (released in 1996), for the time, both games displayed very realistic graphics and some physics of flying a plane. The makers gained legitimacy by Lockheed Martin sanctioning their product, the actual makers of the real-life F-22 fighter. Author: midomaneger | 19 April 2009 |
: 12![]() F-22 is a series of combat flight simulation computer games from NovaLogic, produced only for the PC. Predecessor F-22 Lightning II was released in September 30, 1996. Its minimum requirements were 486/100 MHz or equivalent CPU, 8 MB RAM and 35 MB hard drive space. It was released for DoS and was much more detailed in comparison to contemporary combat flight simulators like Jane's US Navy Fighters. In both games (Lightning II and 3) aircraft was named 'Lightning II', instead of the correct 'Raptor', even when by 1999 plane was officially named by Air Force as 'Raptor'. F-22 Lightning 3 also failed to come close to the physics modeling shown in DiD's F-22 ADF released 2 years earlier. This has later been explained by NovaLogic since they never intended a 'hard core' military flight simulator, but an easily approachable multiplayer software. Author: Faraz_a.m | 23 February 2009 |

: 27![]() Publisher: Ubisoft Developer: Ubisoft Montreal Genre: Fantasy Action Adventure Release Date: Dec 9, 2008 (more) ESRB: TEEN In many modern games, you rain death upon your enemies; how refreshing, then, that your main task in Prince of Persia is to breathe life into a darkening world. That doesn't mean that the forces of evil aren't on your tail in this open-world platformer, but the most indelible moments of this enchanting journey are uplifting, rather than destructive. Similarly, the latest iteration in this long-running franchise is a rejuvenation for the series, and it's an ambitious one, offering up a new titular prince and casting certain game traditions aside in favor of player immersion. And for the most part it succeeds, eliminating illusion-breaking mechanics like game-over screens and long loading times in the process. This re-imagining comes with a few caveats, however, and if you're a longtime series fan, you'll quickly discover--and possibly resent--that Prince of Persia is, far and away, the easiest game in the series. But if you can clear your mind and let the game's magic wash over you, its easygoing joy and visual beauty will charm you into forgiving a sprinkling of flaws. |
