This is a very good album. The songs are all very good musically and there are some amazing musicians on this album. All on one CD you've got guitarists like Slash, Mick Mars and Marty Friedman, you've got Ronnie James Dio and Bruce Dickinson on vocals and the list goes on. Here's a more complete list of who is on the album and where they come from. All the songs are good versions and stick so close to Alices originals that uniformed listeners may ealily mistake them for Alice: Joe Elliott - Def Leopard / Phil Collen - Def Leopard / Bob Kulick - Meat Loaf, Queen / Pat Torpey - David Lee Roth Band / Clarence Clemons - E Street Band Dave Mustaine - Megadeth / Marty Friedman - Megadeth / Bob Daisley - Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, Uriah Heep / Eric Singer - Kiss Roger Daltrey - The Who / Slash - GnR / Mike Inez - Alice In Chains / Carmine Appice - Vanilla Fudge Ronnie James Dio - Dio, Black Sabbath / Steve Lukather - Toto / Phil Soussan - Ozzy Osbourne, Vince Neil, Billy Idol / Randy Castillo - Ozzy Osbourne Vince Neil - Motley Crue / Mick Mars - Motley Crue / Billy Sheehan - David Lee Roth Band / Simon Phillips - Toto, Mick Jagger Bruce Dickinson - Iron Maiden / Adrian Smith - Iron Maiden / Tony Franklin - The Firm / Tommy Aldridge - Ozzy Osbourne, Whitesnake Dee Snider - Twisted Sister / Zakk Wylde - Ozzy Osbourne / Rudy Sarzo - Quiet Riot / Frankie Banali - Quiet Riot Phil Lewis - La Guns / George Lynch - Dokken / Stu Hamm - Steve Vai, Joe Satriani / Vinnie Colaiuta - Frank Zappa / Derek Sherinian - Alice Cooper Glenn Hughs - Deep Purple / Don Dokken - Dokken / John Norum - Dokken / Tim Bogert - Vanilla Fudge, Beck Steve Jones - Sex Pistols / Duff McKagen - GnR / Matt Sorum - GnR |

A selection of popular Black Sabbath songs interpreted by longtime metallic favorites ( Megadeth, Slayer), newer rock kids (Godsmack, Static-X) and a wild card (Busta Rhymes) makes for a fun, if surprisingly middle-of-the-road, listen. NIB 2 is the first release on Ozzy Osbourne's own record label, and one of the CD's dozen tunes features Oz doing the classic "N.I.B" with pranksters Primus; however, there's not enough of Les Claypool's bass peeking through on the otherwise stellar title. Static-X's otherwise distinct techno take on "Behind the Wall of Sleep" loses the song's inherent groove. Megadeth's true-to-the original version of "Never Say Die" is rollicking. Pantera doing the dirge "Electric Funeral" is not as aggro as one might hope; on the other hand, Slayer turn in a raw and dynamic version of "Hand of Doom." Truly unique renderings come from California band hed(p.e.), who do a trippy, hip-hop/funk version of "Sabbra Cadabra," and from Busta Rhymes, with his take on "Iron Man." Ultimately, though, NIB 2 proves that Sabbath did it first and best, and there's really no improving on the original. |

A chronicle of the heavy metal band Pantera's 1992 tour, behind the "Vulgar Display of Power" album, that chronicles all of the band's excesses with groupies, drinking and drugs. Also featured in the video are members of White Zombie, Megadeth and Metallica This collection of 3 Pantera home video releases -- WATCH IT GO, COWBOYS FROM HELL, and VULGAR VIDEOS -- spans over four hours and gives as in-depth a look at the hard, hard rock band as any fan could hope for. In addition to featuring several short-form music videos for songs like "Cowboys From Hell" and "I'm Broken," this collection also contains live footage (most notably from the Monsters of Rock concert in Moscow,) exclusive band interviews, and rare, extremely personal footage of Phil Anselmo and the boys on the road. An absolute must for the Pantera fan! This is the legendary American metal band captured in all its epic, ****ed off and zany glory. |

This was the first Megadeth album to feature Marty Friedman and Nick Menza. After Cacophony called it quits because of a lack of commercial success, Marty taught guitar for a brief period, and then took over the position of lead guitarist for Megadeth. Megadeth soon released Rust In Peace, which was a huge success, undoubtably because of the contribution that Marty made to the album. Marty together with new drummer Nick Menza instantly redefined Megadeth's sound. Marty's innovative leads added a new dimention to the band, which was before mostly driven by Dave Mustaine's aggressive rhythm guitar. This new lineup spewed forth an incredible album featuring vast amounts of Marty's powerful lead work together with supercharged rhythms that were more agressive than ever. The musical content is incredibly high, and the technical playing is just as impressive. This album is widely recognized as an all time great, and definitely Megadeth's best thus far. Most Megadeth fans will tell you that Marty's exotic and unpredictable playing perfectly complement the snarls and tight machine-like rhythms of Dave Mustaine. |

Would you like to play those solos and riffs from Marty and Mustain exactly the same way? Then you get it. Only you find in www.dl4all.com! An awesome Megadeth album, and a must have for all die hard Dave Mustaine and other Megadeth troopers fans. Looking back at Megadeth's history book, clear is their musicianship, talent and above all their constant maturity and improvements. The band hit the top when they recorded Countdown to Extinction and they stormed over the top with Youthanasia. The album features a more mature sound / riffing / solos from the band. The songs are shorter than those in Rust in peace but each song in Youthanasia is as heavy as those in Rust. The solos are more melodic here and the techniques used in riffing and solos is more complex and melodic. Youthanasia is the sixth studio album by American heavy metal band Megadeth, released on November 1, 1994. A remixed and remastered version, featuring several bonus tracks, was released in 2004. The title is a pun on euthanasia, implying that society is euthanizing its youth, which would be consistent with bandleader and principal songwriter Dave Mustaine's views. |
