After a lengthy campaign of pointless phone calls to the basement, Douglas finally offers Jen a position as his Personal Assistant. She accepts the position, having recently realised she's wasting her life in the position she's in, which leaves the guys with free rein to wreak havoc in the basement (including not wearing trousers, and playing a form of golf where Roy would attempt to hit a golf ball into Moss' mouth). Douglas, however, spends the bulk of his time with Jen attempting to bed her.

When Jen wears a "bad bra" to work, Moss overcomes his usual sensitivity to ladies' undergarments and designs the "ultimate" bra. Jen and her new boyfriend, Peter File, are hosting a dinner party for six of their single friends. However all of the men are unable to come at the last minute and Jen invites Roy, Moss, and Richmond to take their places. Moss pairs up with the first of the three single female friends, and the two of them inadvertently start acting as if they're married.

Jen, who is trying to avoid Bill "The News" Crouse after a terrible dinner date, asks Moss to lie for her. Moss, a self-confessed terrible liar, says that Jen has died, and the story quickly gathers momentum. Bill starts telling everyone that he was the last person to sleep with Jen, after which it appears that Jen's spirit begins haunting him. Roy, while trying to gain the attention of Julie, the attractive girl from the fifth floor, inadvertently garners the attention of Judy, the unattractive office cleaner. The office holds a memorial service for Jen, to which Denholm invites his friend Elton John, and which Jen arrives at believing it to be her "employee of the month" ceremony.

Roy gets trapped under an employee's desk and calls Moss to help him escape the situation. Alone in the basement, Jen investigates a strange red door. This leads to her discovery of Richmond (Noel Fielding), a lonely goth and the fourth member of the IT department. A series of flashbacks reveals Richmond's fall from grace, including him telling a group of people something amusing, and with a graph, leaving Jen determined to help him. Meanwhile, Roy becomes trapped under a desk and tries not to become a "desk rabbit" (a term Moss coined for the situation).

Memtest86 is a comprehensive, stand-alone memory diagnostic. Memtest86+ is software designed to stress test an x86-compatible computer's random access memory (RAM) for errors. It tries to verify that the RAM will accept and correctly retain arbitrary patterns of data written to it.
Memtest86+ is designed to run from a bootable floppy disk, CD-ROM, USB Drive, or from a suitable bootloader without an operating system present. Memtest86+'s tests are comprehensive so it can find otherwise hidden problems on machines that appear to work normally. With many chipsets, Memtest86+ allows counting of failures even in error-correcting ECC DRAM.

Memtest86 was originally developed by Chris Brady; Memtest86+ is developed by Samuel Demeulemeester. The first version of Memtest86+ was released on early 2004, based on memtest86 v3.0 that was not updated since mid-2002.

Memtest86+ writes a series of test patterns to every memory address, reads back the data written, and compares it for errors.
