Steely Bird - 3d ActionSteely Bird is a fresh sequel to Air Force Missions, perhaps the most exciting 3D indie helicopter combat action game ever released. The new sequel follows in the footsteps of its parent and takes it to the limit. The center piece of Steely Bird is a new terrorist base, well defended and cleverly designed to make any head-on attack pointless. This time around, the terrorists created a new monstrous weapon and a new type of explosives. Naturally, the only way to stop the destruction is to annihilate the opp onents while they are on the move. After this is d one, the player has to carefully plan the assault on the core base, which is defended by the towers and is fortified with a new type of metal alloy. Steely Bird has 24 new levels. There is a whole lot of desert flying to do because this add-on is Iraq-based. The battle scene is littered with burning oil barrels and is packed with industrial objects where sneaky terrorist land units can hide to give them unfair advantage. All 3D objects are remarkably well designed and bear a distinct Air Force Missions style touch. The choice of helicopters in Steely Bird is limited to 3 iron birdies, but all of the machines are pure joy to pilot and attack with. The difficulty level has been increased a couple of notches, so the game should please the most demanding hard-core gamers. Even diehard helicopter simulator fans are likely to get hooked on the game instantly. As in previous versions of the game, there are briefings with the general who points out mission objectives and gives hints how to outsmart the opp onents. |

Indiana J ones and the Emperor's Tomb is an action video game developed by The Collective and published by LucasArts in 2003 featuring cover art by Drew Struzan. The game is a new adventure of fictional archeologist Indiana J ones. The story is set in 1935, just before the events of Indiana J ones and the Temple of Doom, and is available for PlayStation 2, Xbox, Macintosh and Windows. Indiana J ones and the Emperor's Tomb begins in the jungles of Ceylon, where Indiana J ones is searching for the idol of Kouru Watu. After retrieving the idol, Indy meets a Nazi named Albrecht Von Beck, who is attacked by a giant alligator, allowing J ones to escape. Back at school, Chinese officials Marshall Kai Ti Chan and his assistant Mei Ying inform Dr. J ones of the Heart of the Dragon, a black pearl buried with the first emperor of China, Qin Shi Huangdi. Mei Ying breaks open the Ceylon idol to find the first piece of the "Mirror of Dreams", an artifact that will help navigate through the Emperor's Tomb and reveal the entrance to Huangdi's crypt. Indy flies to a castle in Prague to acquire the second piece of the mirror, only to be captured by Von Beck and his men. J ones wakes up in a cell in Istanbul when Mei Ying appears and frees him. He makes his way to the sunken palace of Belisarius to collect the final piece of the mirror. Mei Ying appears again and tells him that Kai is working with the Nazis to get the Mirror for himself and control the Heart of the Dragon. At the Golden Lotus Opera House in Hong Kong, Mei Ying and Indy wait for Wu Han, a character from Indiana J ones and the Temple of Doom. When Mei Ying is kidnapped by Kai's men, Indy and Wu Han chase them down to the dock, where they discover that they are heading to Kai's private island. Wu Han and Indy follow them in a junk. |

United Offensive follows a similar format to that found in Call of Duty. You play as three Allied soldiers--an American paratrooper, a British SAS commando, and a Soviet infantryman--who are caught in the great struggle against Nazi Germany. Over the course of the single-player campaign, you'll go from the frozen siege of Bastogne during the Battle of the Bulge to the epic German counterattack at Kursk. Throughout most of the campaign, you'll participate in huge, heavily scripted, set- piece battles that make the squad-based battles in Call of Duty look downright minuscule in comparison. |

One of the most famous Nintendo DS games....... Pokemon has been doing the same thing since it came about ten years ago. The formula is so familiar to gamers that there's a "been there, d one that" kind of feel all over. You choose a starter and go off from home to collect several Pokemon, collect gym badges and ultimately defeat an evil team of Pokemon Trainers that are up to no good. All the pieces of the formula are there. If you've played any of the previous Pokemon games before then you've been here before. Yet it doesn't stop Pokemon from being an overall addictive game. While some will find Platinum (as well as Diamond and Pearl) to be a little too much of the same thing, the gameplay can't be denied. Pokemon has been doing the same thing for over ten years now, and it's still fun. worth $34.99 free at dl4all.... |

Publisher: Ubisoft Developer: Ubisoft Montreal Genre: Modern First-Person Shooter Release Date: Oct 21, 2008 (more) ESRB: MATURE ESRB Descriptors: Blood, Drug Reference, Intense Violence, Strong Language, Sexual Themes In Far Cry 2's chaotic world of mercenaries, gunrunners, and armed militias, you'll find yourself dropped into a dizzying web of shady clients and paper-thin alliances. All manner of names and faces are introduced during the course of the storyline, but the real star isn't any one brandishing a smuggled weapon in search of blood diamonds; it's the daunting and awe-inspiring 50-square kilometers of African landscape that make up the game's open-world setting. Aside from providing the opportunity to soak up an amazing sunset, Far Cry 2's free-roaming terrain brilliantly harmonizes with the first-person combat. The diverse landscape and myriad environmental factors work alongside a wide assortment of weaponry to give you tremendous freedom to approach each mission. Combined with solid multiplayer, Far Cry 2's sheer breadth of action provides you with plenty of reason to stay lost in the African wilderness despite an underwhelming plot and the occasional sense of tedium in navigating from one location to another on the gargantuan map. Far Cry 2's story is filled with potential. You're a mercenary working for a client who's sent you to an unnamed African nation engulfed in civil war, and your job is to take out a notorious arms dealer known as "The Jackal." He quickly proves to be an elusive figure, so you'll need to begin working for various warring factions that the Jackal has armed so you can trace the supply line back to your target. The two primary organizations at the heart of all this bloodshed are the militaristic UFLL and the revolutionary APR. You'll spend the bulk of the story working for these two groups, getting to know their power structures, and taking on all of the violent tasks they throw your way. Complicating things is the fact that your character has malaria, which means you'll need to occasionally play nice with the more ragtag Underground, the only group with the medical connections necessary to keep your potentially life-threatening symptoms at bay. #18: Movie : No Country For Old Men (2007) |

English | Subtitle: English/French/Spanish | 122 min | XVid 640x272 | 384 kbps AC3 | 23 fps | Genre : Crime/Drama | 1,4 GB Premiered in Competition at the Cannes Film Festival, No Country for Old Men is a critically acclaimed 2007 film adaptation of the novel of the same name by Pulitzer Prize winning author, Cormac McCarthy. Written and directed by Joel and Ethan Coen, the film features Tommy Lee J ones, Josh Brolin, and Javier Bardem. Faithfully adapted from the well-received novel, No Country for Old Men draws heavily on McCarthy's themes of chance and fate. It tells the story of a drug deal g one very wrong and the ensuing cat-and-mouse drama as three men crisscross each other's paths in the desert landscape of 1980 West Texas. ~Wikipedia . With NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN, the Coen Brothers have found a perfect match in Pulitzer Prize-winning author Cormac McCarthy. Their adaptation of McCarthy's praised novel is a staggering master piece. In this almost impossibly faithful adaptation, the film takes place in a small Texas border town in 1980. Sheriff Bell (a never-been-better Tommy Lee J ones) has ruled the land for years without the use of a gun, but a new brand of reckless lawlessness has taken over his town. Llewelyn Moss (Josh Brolin) is an innocent Everyman with a devoted wife, Carla Jean (Kelly Macdonald), but when he stumbles across a drug deal g one deadly and finds two million dollars, he's determined to keep it for himself. There's only one problem. He's being pursued by one of the most amoral, evil psychopaths that the big screen has ever seen. Wearing an absurd haircut and brandishing a pressurized weapon that's used to murder cattle, Anton Chigurh (Javier Bardem) creeps forward on his mission to track Moss down and return the m oney to its rightful owners to save his own skin. As the tension mounts, the body count begins to rise, confirming Sheriff Bell's inability to battle this new wave of modern brutality. The most striking thing about the Coen Brothers' thriller is their masterly use of silence to create an almost unbearable level of tension. Cinematographer Roger Deakins is once again at the top of his game, beautifully capturing this stark and l onely world. The well-rounded cast is clearly excited to be a part of such a stellar production--particularly Bardem, whose Chigurh is a freakishly mysterious monster, and is certain to haunt viewers long after the final credit has rolled. In a career filled with striking achievements, this might very well be the Coen Brothers' finest. It is filmmaking at its best. |
