This view won me over, though I’m sure I wouldn’t use it 100% of the time because it limits your view of the track. I can say that I loved the look of the tracks and the choices offered.

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit II is not a driving simulator. It's not Grand Prix 4, and it doesn't set out to be. This game is all about arcade-style racing, where car-handling properties are wildly exaggerated, and physics are more like loose suggestions, rather than strict laws.
