PLOT: Management chronicles the chance meeting of Mike Cranshaw and Sue Claussen when she checks into the roadside motel owned by Mike’s parents in Arizona. A bottle of wine ‘compliments of management’ jump starts the cross-country journey and unique courtship between two different kinds of people who are both ultimately looking for the same thing - a sense of happiness. Mike sees something special in button downed Sue that inspires him to take a chance and hit the road to go after her. But once he reaches Maryland, he finds that Sue has no place for an aimless dreamer in her carefully ordered life. Yet another tribute album. These things actually seem to breed, and soon enough there will be more tribute albums for Slayer than actual Slayer albums themselves. Well, at the very least this tribute album, good or bad, can say that it stands out from the rest.

This tribute also throws in techno and punk into the mix as well and as you could imagine is no different from the other tributes. Instead of just having one musical genre cover Slayer, they grab a handful of death metal bands, a handful of industrial bands, and then mix them all up on this tribute album.

All the tracks are good, all of these songs do the originals justice, theres no butchering of a song on here.

If you are a die-hard Slayer fan, then you must get this. A couple of the groups incorporate too much death metal influence on the songs, but the rest are awesome.

Illustration is a dirty word, or at least was until recently. Neither truly accepted by the art establishment nor the design industry, illustration has battled on regardless. Derided as whimsical by artists and arty by designers, illustration had found itself existing in a no-manÕs-land between the two. In education the discipline has fared no better - rarely given more than just studio space, the student illustrator has learnt to bend the rules and break across borders to gain access to facilities and equipment to facilitate their work. So life as an illustrator is not for the faint-hearted, it takes massive determination to face the demands and rigours of a career choice that can feel vastly unsupported, but against these odds the discipline has mounted an impressive return to form. How and why?

According to The National Museum of Illustration in Rhode Island, USA, 'Illustrators combine personal expression with pictorial representation in order to convey ideasÕ - a useful description certainly, but one that falls short of fully capturing the essence of what the subject is or has been about. Describing the 'golden eraÕ, when magazines such as the Saturday Evening Post scoured the studios for great illustrators, Steven Heller the design writer and art director stated that 'Illustration was the peopleÕs artÕ. A sentiment echoed by the National Museum of Illustration - 'illustration serves as a reservoir of our social and cultural historyÕ, even going onto state - 'Illustration is therefore, a significant and enduring art formÕ.

Far Beyond Driven is the seventh album by heavy metal band Pantera. The album was released on March 15, 1994 through East West Records. It is considered one of the most extreme albums ever to debut at #1 in the US.

The album's original artwork (a drill bit impaling an anus) (seen below) was banned due to censorship laws so it was re-released with the now legendary skull impaled with a drill bit. Copies of the original version with the banned artwork are now quite rare and fetch high prices on online auction sites. Far Beyond Driven took Pantera's music to an even heavier and more extreme style than on previous releases; settling for a continuous, slow chugging, mid-tempo groove throughout the album. Much of the shift was due to Dimebag Darrell's more down-tuned and heavier sludgy playing style.

Anselmo's lyrics on the album were far more personal than on the previous albums. Songs such as 'Becoming' and '25 Years' appear to be about Philip Anselmo's early life. This was the first Pantera album with Darrell being called "Dimebag Darrell" and not "Diamond Darrell," although in Vulgar Video he is referred to as "Dimebag".

Discovery is the second studio album by the French house duo Daft Punk, released on March 13, 2001. It marks a shift in the sound from Chicago house, which they were previously known for, to disco and synthpop styles. The album also provided itself as a soundtrack to the anime film Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem.

Long before there was The OC, there was The Offspring, formed by a pair of Orange County high school buddies back in '84 following a show in Irvine by local legends Social Distortion. Almost two decades, six albums and 32 million records later, those two pals, vocalist/guitarist Dexter Holland and bassist Greg K, along with fellow classmate (and school custodian) guitarist Noodles, are still delivering. Greatest Hits collects together some of theri most memeorable moments, including "Hit That", "The Kids Aren't Alright" and the massive hit, "Pretty Fly (For A White Guy)". If you're a big fan of the Offspring, this is probably skippable. If you're just discovering the band, then this is an O.K. place to start.
