Zekr is an open platform for research on the Holy Quran. It is a Quran based project, planned to be a universal, open source, cross-platform application to perform most of the usual refers to Quran. The main idea is to build an as generic as possible platform to be capable of having different add-ins for its tasks.

* Ability to control the pages' quality and hence downloading speed
* Ability to change the background image to suit the reader
* Ability to jump to the supplication page of the Quran

* Ability to navigate the Quran using the directional buttons of the keyboard

Note: Please extract all the files into a folder named in English, since the program does not yet work with Arabic letters in the file path.

- For Linux users, you may run the program using "wine" by downloading the Tajweed Quran (windows version) then running it using the following command: "wine quranflash%20tajweed.exe"
- It does not require an Internet connection to run (navigation to be translated soon to English).
