Kyuss (pronounced /ˈkaɪəs/ KAI-us) was an influential American stoner metal band, originally from Palm Desert, California. After forming in the late 1980s and releasing an EP under the name Sons of Kyuss in 1990, the band shortened its name to Kyuss. Over the next five years the band released four full-length albums before splitting up in 1995.

The band's only continuous members were vocalist John Garcia and guitarist Josh Homme, but also featured Brant Bjork, Scott Reeder, Alfredo Hernandez, Chris Cockrell, and Nick Oliveri. Since then, members of Kyuss have gone on to form or play in several notable bands including Queens of the Stone Age, Fu Manchu, Unida, Brant Bjork, Eagles of Death Metal, Mondo Generator, Hermano, Slo Burn and Them Crooked Vultures.

Leftöver Crack is an American ska punk band formed in 1999, following the breakup of the ska punk band Choking Victim. Primarily playing an amalgam of ska punk, and death metal with anarchist lyrics, they classify themselves as "Crack Rock Steady." The band is currently signed to Fat Wreck Chords for CD releases, and Alternative Tentacles for vinyl releases. The band consists of Stza Crack (vocals), Ezra Kire (guitar, vocals), Brad Logan (guitar), Alec Baillie (bass guitar), and Ara Babajian (drums). Leftöver Crack are typically associated with Morning Glory, and INDK. The line-up of Leftöver Crack changes fairly often, drawing on members of other New York City punk bands such as The Stockyard Stoics and The X-Possibles. Stza, Ezra, Brad, and Alec are currently the band's only completely permanent members.

'Step Up 2: The Streets' is the film soundtrack album from the motion picture Step Up 2: The Streets. It was released February 5th 2008. The album debuted at No.13 on the U.S. Billboard 200, and peaked at No.5 two weeks later. The album also reached No.4 on the U.S. Rap Albums Charts. She also joined him in Super Bowl XXVII's half time entertainment which aired to the largest audience in television history (1.5 billion)

George Lynch was born in Spokane, Washington on September 28th 1954 and was raised in Sacramento, California, and is best known for being in the 80s hard rock band ‘’Dokken’’. He is a highly respected modern guitarist, compared to such players as Steve Vai and Eddie Van Halen. He is well known for his stunning legato technique and the common use of the scale he calls the ‘’Gothic Octave’’.

George auditioned to be Ozzy Osbourne's guitarist twice, once in 1979, losing to the late, great, Randy Rhodes (and another time in 1982 to replace Brad Gillis). According to George, he was hired for three days until Ozzy changed his mind and decided to go with Jake E. Lee. Lee, however claims that Lynch ‘Got the gig’, but only went on the road for two weeks to watch the show, and never actually played with Ozzy.

He came to fame with Dokken in the 80’s, whom which he had been a member of since the 70’s. Dokken had a string of successful gold albums and Lynch's lead work was highly acclaimed on all of them and cemented his place in the legion of guitar heroes. Despite being hugely successful, Lynch left Dokken in 1990 due to tension with lead vocalist Don Dokken. George went and formed his own band ‘’Lynch Mob’’ whose style was similar to Dokken’s, but were never as successful.
