After a long stint as an arcade racer, Need for Speed is heading into simulation territory with Need for Speed: Shift. What will it sound like when you die? In One Missed Call, a chain of people receive terrifying cell phone messages of their own final fatal moments. Beth Raymond (Shannyn Sossamon) witnesses the death of two of her best friends just days apart. Both received terrifying messages on their cell phones that sounded like moments recorded at their deaths. Although it sounds like a crazy story, the only person who believes Beth is Detective Jack Andrews (Edward Burns), who helps her figure out who's been leaving the demonic voice mails.
