PADI was originally one of the campus bands in Airlangga University (Unair), Surabaya. The band consists of Andi Fadly Arifuddin (Fadly, vocalist), Satriyo Yudhi Wahono (Piyu, guitarist), Ari Tri Sosianto (Ari, guitarist), Rindra Risyanto Noor (Rindra, bassist), and Surendro Prasetyo (Yoyok, drummer).

Padi They were called SODA before eventually dubbed as PADI. The band first performed at a gig at Unair’s Faculty of Law, October 1996, and formally known as PADI in April 8, 1997. Yoyok, the drummer, proposed the name PADI, Indonesian for “rice”. It was not only inspired by the philosophy of rice, which bows even further down when ripen, a symbol for modesty. But also by the fact that it is Indonesian staple food that everybody could enjoy. From peasants, little kids, to the executives. Though PADI’s name is often associated with something “boorish”, being the food for the poor, PADI has a very down-to-earth sense. In their perspective, PADI is also the symbol for prosperity

Each member came from various backgrounds. The five of them did not simply meet and instantly form a band. It was first Piyu and Ari who got together. Shortly, Ari invited Rindra to join them as bassist; both Ari and Rindra once band-mate in a band called WARNA. Afterwards, they found the vocalist, Fadly, and drummer, Yoyok. Fadly, who first admired Ari’s guitar playing during his band’s performance at a campus gig, initially offered to play bass for Ari’s band; if they needed one (Fadly had been playing bass since he was in senior high school).

In 1981, the movie Let It Be was released to the home video market through 20th Century Fox and Magnetic Video Corporation. It was first issued on VHS and Betamax, next on laserdisc, and finally, RCA secured the rights to release it for their CED* (Capacitance Electronic Disc System) "Videodisc" format, The latter format failed miserably due to poor quality discs, which always skipped, and the players which had a very high failure rate. Very few copies of Let It Be were pressed on the CED format, making it the hardest to find of the four formats. All of the issues of Let It Be went out of print within a couple of years.

Today, copies of the Let It Be laserdisc are one of the most sought after of all Beatles video releases, with prices exceeding $300 for mint condition copies. Only a few sealed copies are known to exist. VHS and Beta copies are almost as hard to find, but bring prices in the under $100 range. Factory sealed copies are even more valuable, and both of the videotape releases used special shrink wrap imprinted with the 20th Century Fox logo, great for authenticating original unopened copies. All four versions shown above are factory sealed copies, making this set one of the few known to exist in unopened condition.

As of the end of 2000, nineteen years after its initial release, Let It Be has never been issued again. In 1997 a UK company, "VCI", announced plans to issue the movie for the first time in England. They claimed to have a version that was remastered in 1992 and that they would release it in 1997

Paul Gilbert (born November 6, 1966 in Illinois, United States of America ) is an American guitarist, he began playing music at age five, and by age but soon gave up, becoming frustrated with just learning simple nursery rhymes. Around age 11, he took up the guitar again, but with a skewed memory of the technique; he played only with upstrokes, and only used his middle finger to Paul Gilbert. Frustrated after trying to play a fast metal song with a galloping rhythm using this technique, he took lessons, and his teacher explained the error of his ways. His technique corrected, Gilbert continued practicing, and by the age of 15 he was not only touring local clubs with his band Tau Zero but was even spotlighted in Guitar Player alongside fellow up-and-comer Yngwie Malmsteen.
