This third-person shooter portrays the conflict between heaven and hell as being waged on Earth via corporate proxies. You'll play as a former heavenly agent who's kicked out of heaven and caught between both sides. However, the gameplay in Infernal hardly aspires to greatness, nor is it a complete disaster. Instead, this supernatural action game just muddles along.

You play as Ryan Lennox, a fallen angel sipping drinks in a bar with a friend when suddenly shock troops from Everlight, the heavenly corporation, try to kill him. With nowhere else to turn, Lennox teams up with hell's corporation for some revenge. In return, he is blessed (or cursed) with infernal powers that allow him to teleport around, levitate objects, fire powerful magical blasts, and see the invisible. That's in addition to his regular arsenal of weapons, ranging from pistols to assault rifles, as well as exotic equipment, such as welder guns and heavy energy beams. With these powers and weapons, Lennox has to storm Everlight's facilities to uncover its plan to mind control humanity while letting people still think they have free will. That touches on an interesting theological and philosophical question, but that's about as far as the game goes in that direction. In Infernal, it's might that makes right, which is all you'll have to worry about.

The awkwardly named Project IGI: I'm Going In follows in the trend of the Rainbow Six series, the Delta Force series, and SWAT 3. It eschews the outlandish futuristic weapons and imaginary settings of many traditional shooters and focuses instead on contemporary realism. 25 to Life is a third person action game with a terrible aiming mechanic and woefully inadequate controls. As you might assume, that does a whole lot to make the game as unnecessarily frustrating and perplexing as possible. In it, you'll be able to use a wide variety of guns including several pistols, SMGs, rifles, grenades and Molotov cocktails. Each painfully linear stage plays out through a series of combat arenas. In other words, you enter an area, kill the enemies, pick up the floating health pack, move to next area, kill more guys. That's pretty much it. With a game so specifically focused on combat, it's amazing how limited your character is in terms of abilities. After playing through the game's first two levels, you've seen pretty much all there is to see.

Whoever you're controlling can crouch, run around, occasionally vault walls and lean side to side. The leaning is the only combat option that might have proved worthwhile or added some strategy, but as it stands it's pretty much useless. For one, you don't really lean that far, so you can't see much more of the combat area than if you were to just run out from behind cover. Second, the actual lean is slow, meaning if there are enemies around that know where you are, they're definitely going to shoot you. Third, once noticed, the enemies will always seem to know when you're going to lean out.

Basically, this means fighting from cover is awkward and ineffective. This is especially true since enemies will frequently lean out from cover too. In many cases you can't see exactly where your foes are and because the leaning controls are so slow to respond, you'll have to stand out in the open to know when you're able to shoot at them. Don't get the wrong impression here; just because the enemies take cover doesn't mean they're smart

The bald-headed contract killer known only as 47 is in good form, primed and ready for more work in the latest installment in the dark, stylish Hitman series. Though very similar to the last two games in the series, the open-ended stealth action gameplay offered by Hitman: Blood Money is still just about as tensely exciting as ever. A few new twists to the formula, an intriguing story, and a memorably diverse, cinematic sequence of missions further make Blood Money worth it.

Following the plot of the movie, Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace lets you fight through 11 levels of action. At various points in the game you will get to take control of Obi-Wan Kenobi, Qui-Gon Jinn, Queen Amidala, and Captain Panaka. In the first episode, Ross prepares for deployment and joins up with 1 Royal Anglian as they train during a cold British winter on Salisbury Plain. They're training for what they will face in Afghanistan, which includes convoy protection and deploying from Chinook helicopters. During one exercise, Ross' group is attacked and Ross and several others are told that they have been 'killed' by the enemy.
It's a sobering thought.
Three months later Ross will be playing this scenario for real.

Ross comments on the making of these programmes; "Conditions in Afghanistan are intolerable. The heat is stifling and there's the constant threat of snipers, RPG attacks and land mines.
