Adams Release Name: Rage.2009.DVDRiP.XViD-MisFitZ Size: 707.20 MB Quality: 624×352, 978 Kbps, 128 Kbps stereo audio Run time: 98 minutes Filename: misfitz-rage Plot: Defying the usual conventions of film, “Rage” is the new cinematic creation from ground-breaking writer/director Sally Potter. He goes behind-the-scenes at a New York fashion show during seven days in which an accident on the catwalk turns into a murder investigation. Fourteen actors, both celebrated stars and exciting emerging talents, play characters who each have a role in the show, from the designer (Simon Abkarian) and his models (Lily Cole and Jude Law), the fashion critic (Judi Dench) and photographer (Steve Buscemi), through the seamstress (Adriana Barraza) to the fashion house financier (Eddie Izzard) and his bodyguard (John Leguizamo). As they start to confide in Michelangelo, the unseen schoolboy with his phone camera, their personal truths begin to surface and the reality of events taking place off screen at the show start to unravel. |

#15: E-Books : Manias, Panics, and Crashes by Charles P. Kindleberger |

| |
Some times we forget how bad it can be, and then we howl over minor bad times in the markets. We may be past a mania in residential housing, but we have not really experienced a panic or crash yet. People squeal over how bad the equity market is, but recently we haven’t had anything like the 2000-2002 experience, much less the 1973-1974 or 1929-1932 experience. You will see that manias and their subsequent fallout are endemic to Western culture. Someone living a full life over the last 300+ years would see one or two big ones, and numerous small ones. Relatively free societies give people freedom to make mistakes. Given the way that people chase performance, we can all make mistakes as a group, with large booms and busts. Much as the regulators might want to tame it, they can pretty much only affect what kind of crisis we get, and not whether we get one. He is somewhat prescient in suggesting that the leverage inherent in derivatives post-LTCM could be the next crisis. This book is a better one if you like the stories, and don’t want to dig into the theories. This is an excellent book as far as dissecting manias and trying to understand them. |

World War III Black Gold | Real Time Strategy | 140 MB World War 3 is a fully 3D RTS with all features that characterize this genre. The game has been developed based on a 3D environment, so that the player can set the camera parallel to any plane and freely zoom in and out. All game objects are 3D, as well as the terrain itself. The units also posse unique, dynamic physical properties. For example, vehicles move faster on hard soil than they would in sand. There are three parties in the game: the USA, Russia and Iraq. Whichever is chosen, each allows the player to select two campaigns, consisting of 5 missions on average. Each campaign begins and ends with a rendered film scene. World War III: Black Gold takes the player to an unknown future. The political crisis goes on for months, and a wave of demonstrations has broken out around the world. A secret conference of the Central Geological UN Commission reveals that worldwide oil stocks have plummeted to dangerously low levels, oil reserves will run out within 8-10 years. As this proves too short for even the most highly industrialized countries to switch their economies over to alternative energy sources, protests close the world and succumbs the whole world economy. The leading forces have declared WW III... |

#17: E-Books : Secrets For Profiting in Bull and Bear Markets by Stan Weinstein |
| |
| The Author: ompeompe | 9 December 2008 | Views: 2507 |
| |
This book has completely changed by perspective on trading or investing (there's a difference). With either one, you will find this book VERY helpful and practical (recognizing breakouts, when to buy, when to sell, cycles of a stock's life, market timing, shorting stocks, establishing safeguards, various order types, etc.). The book has a heavy emphasis on analyzing charts. This is a major plus, but it's very practical, not numbingly theoretical. This is the best book on trading techniques that you have ever read. It is based on how to do "stage analysis," that is, looking at charts to determine whether a stock is going up, topping, declining, or bottoming out. The author stresses using stage analysis not only on individual stocks, but also on industry sectors as well as indexes like the Dow and Nasdaq. Stan Weinstein's Secrets For Profiting in Bull and Bear Markets reveals his successful methods for timing investments to produce consistently profitable results. Topics include: * Stan Weinstein's personal philosophy on investing * The ideal time to buy * Refining the buying process * Knowing when to sell |

#18: E-Books : Contrarian Investment Strategies by David Dreman |
| |
| The Author: ompeompe | 4 December 2008 | Views: 1330 |
| |
David Dreman has written one of those rare, original books on the market that appear every generation or so. Powerful, profound, and extremely well documented, it provides totally new strategies for investing in the 1990s and beyond. There are relatively few good money managers or good writers on investment. David Dreman is both. This is a great book for all investors, laymen and professionals alike. David Dreman's name is synonymous with the term "contrarian investing," and his contrarian strategies have been proven winners year after year. His techniques have spawned countless imitators, most of whom pay lip service to the buzzword "contrarian," but few can match his performance. His Kemper-Dreman High Return Fund has been the leader since its inception in 1988 -- the number one equity-income fund among all 208 ranked by Lipper Analytical Services, Inc. Dreman is also one of a handful of money managers whose clients have beaten the runaway market over the past five, ten, and fifteen years. Now, as the longest bull market in the history of the stock market winds down, there is increasing volatility and a great deal of uncertainty. This is the climate that tests the mettle of the pros, the worries of the average investor, and the success of David Dreman's brilliant new strategies for the next millennium. "Contrarian Investment Strategies: The Next Generation" shows investors how to outperform professional money managers and profit from potential Wall Street panics -- all in Dreman's trademark style, which "The New York Times" calls "witty and clear as a silver bell." Dreman reveals a proven, systematic, and safe way to beat the market by buying stocks of good companies when they are currently out of favor. At the heart of his book is a fundamental psychological insight: investors overreact. Dreman demonstrates how investors consistently overvalue the so-called "best" stocks and undervalue the so-called "worst" stocks, and how earnings and other surprises affect the best and worst stocks in opposite ways. |

#19: E-Books : Currency Strategy by Callum Henderson |

| The Author: ompeompe | 4 December 2008 | Views: 985 |
| |
If you are looking for a book on foreign currency strategy that well suited for readers with MBAs or degrees in economics . The "Wiley Finance" imprint usually does a good job of exactly this - a thorough serious treatment of a subject, but without differential equations. Callum Henderson clearly knows his subject. That said, there are few alternatives on the subject that aren't trading books replete with technical analysis or thick academic tomes that are aimed at shaping public policy rather than informing market participants. So read the book and get what you can out of it. A good introduction to exchange rate determination in theory and in practice. Useful for someone with a little bit of background into economics or exchange rates who wants to delve a bit more. There is a lot of information for the individual that makes many good points about the use of fundamental as well as technical analysis. One outstanding feature of this book, and indeed a lot of work by this author, is that it moves beyond just exchange rate forecasting into the realm of exchange rate risk management and other issues pertinent to those who deal in this space. There is a lot of material in this book that traders should know. Some are minor details, but these are the same details that can determine whether a trade will be profitable. It is divided into three parts towards the end to suit three types of investors: (1) corporate, (2) institutional, and (3) speculator. |

#21: Portable : Portable Time Crisis - PC Game |

| The Author: marlboro73 | 3 November 2008 | Views: 15305 |
| |
Time Crisis is a first person rail shooter similar to Virtua Cop and The House of the Dead, in which the player holds a light gun and goes through the motions of firing at on-screen enemies. Unique to the arcade original was the presence of a foot pedal, which is released to cause the player's avatar to duck behind cover, as well as reload their weapon. However, the player can only shoot while the pedal is depressed, and their avatar vulnerable to enemy fire. (The pedal was replaced with standard buttons for non-arcade releases.) Finally, the game takes its name from a countdown clock, recharged by clearing an area of "bad guys." As running down the clock causes an instant game over, the player must take risks, shooting enemies rapidly and hiding only when necessary. Tags: Portable, Game |

#22: Music : Shelby Lynne - Identity Crisis (2003) |

| |
MP3 | 12 Tracks | Genre: Folk/Rock | 192 kbps | 54.4 MB Shelby Lynne wrote, sang, produced, and played all the guitar parts on her mellow, moody, and sonically stripped-down eighth album, Identity Crisis. Surely the title ironically refers to Lynne's eclectic career itself rather than this slow-burning, excellent album, with its lyrics so personal and honest, one feels like a voyeur at times. Identity sounds like a living room session; the demos made for the big album before the hot-shot producer came in and ruined everything. Lynne's voice is as relaxed, assured, and richly emotive as ever, buoyed by acoustic bass and guitars, electric piano, and minimal percussion. Notable deviations from the candlelit vibe include the mid-tempo rocker "Gotta Be Better" (which sounds like PJ Harvey jamming with X), the gospel chorus that peaks through on "10 Rocks" (the record's sole hokey tune), and of course "Lonesome" (a gorgeous old school Nashville-sheen tune that expertly evokes Patsy and Kitty with multi-tracked vocals and sweeping strings). Track Listings:1. Telephone 2. 10 Rocks 3. If I Were Smart 4. Gotta Be Better 5. I Don't Think So |

242 pages | 2002-04-06 | PDF | 1,2 MB This study presents us with an insightful sociological exploration of sexual practice within five different types of relationship and from varying perspectives of gender and age: lifelong love, serial loves, searching, devitalized relations and parallel relations.Based on the autobiographies of almost two hundred adults in Finland, these real-life experiences reflect the way in which sexuality has evolved, both within the life time of the individual, and over generations. Also examined is the impact of major historical events on love and sexual relationships - from war to economic crisis - and that of the 'spirit of the age,' from the emancipatory zeal of the 1960s to the new-age holistic ideals in the 1980s. |

English | PDF | 85 Pages | 8.06 MB Scientific American is a popular-science magazine, published (first weekly and later monthly) since August 28, 1845, making it the oldest continuously published magazine in the United States. It brings articles about new and innovative research to the amateur and lay audience. Scientific American emphasizes a wide variety of emerging technologies, giving scientists a chance to keep up in an increasingly specialized professional world. Innovative and controversial developments such as gene patenting and the latest from the unified field gurus are front and center in every issue. It's not all business, though--regular features like Michael Shermer's "Skeptic" column, enticing book reviews, brain-busting puzzles, and James Burke's intellectual-historical meanderings add browsability to this enduring magazine, in business reporting the frontiers of scientific exploration for more than 150 years. |

| |
"Praetorians" is a 3D real- time strategy game developed by Pyro Studios, based on Julius Caesar's campaigns. Players are given the option of a mission where they play as Julius Caesar commanding forces of varying sizes against various barbarian tribes. Or a skirmish can be played in which the player first chooses a difficultly level (easy, medium, hard or expert) then chooses up to 1 character and up to 7 AI players, commanded by the computer. These can be Roman, Egyptian or an anonymous barbarian tribe. Once this is completed it can then be chosen to create alliances by putting two forces on the same team. This means that they can't attack each other and in times of crisis one team member can call to another via a message line "We need help" whereupon the ally will normally throw in spare troops to help their ally. Praetorians varies from other games of its genre in that resources do not play a part in it. In most real time strategy games, wood, food, gold, stone and glory need to be collected and is spent as troops are created. According to Gamespot, Praetorians had beautiful graphics but it was difficult to zoom in and impossible to turn the camera around 360 degrees. However it was praised by Gamespot for its gameplay and tactical depth. The game continues to sell well even today (May 2008), with it still being in the top 20 Budget PC titles on ChartTrack. |

Most of us grew up with the same set of rules: go to school, get good grades, get a safe, secure job, work hard, build up your 401k, etc. We've all been taught that this is the way to reach the "American Dream." But the rich follow a different set of rules. In fact, the rich live in a world that most of us know nothing about. The rich pay less taxes and have set up their lives in such a way that money constantly comes into their pockets. At the same time, they use expenses to their advantage. In other words, the rules of the rich are what make them rich. Let's face it, the rich are getting richer, and the middle class is getting deeper in debt trying to keep up with the lifestyle of the rich . . . which makes the rich even richer. Robert Kiyosaki has found a better alternative -- his Rich Dad's secrets. "Rich Dad Secrets to Money, Business, and Investing" offers the lessons about money that Robert Kiyosaki, a self-made millionaire, learned from his rich dad . . . a dad that gave him not only money, but his secrets to acquiring great wealth. In this groundbreaking program, you will learn these priceless secrets. Instead of working for money, you'll learn how to make money work hard for you. You'll discover why you don't need a high income to become rich -- and that all you need is financial education -- the type of education this program can offer you. |
