Kaspersky Boot Rescue Disk - Kaspersky Lab's newest development, which allows you to completely kill any viruses, including even the most dangerous, with which it is impossible to get to boot Windows.

The Rescue CD includes Kaspersky 2010 brand new engine and the latest available virus definitions.

Burn this ISO image to a CD (the lower the burning speed, the more reliable the Rescue Disk), insert it into the infected system's CD-ROM drive, enter the PC's BIOS, set it to boot from the CD and reboot the computer.

In system rescue mode only virus scan tasks and database update tasks are available as well as update rollback and viewing of statistics. You can take the following steps:

Specify virus scan settings:

change security level;
change action applied to detected threat;
create list of objects to be scanned;
change type of scanned objects;
optimize the scan;
specify settings for scanning compound files;
restore default scan settings.

Specify update task settings:

select update source;
use proxy server;
specify regional settings;
roll back last update if necessary.

Configure additional settings:

select categories of threats to detect;
create trusted zone;
configure notification settings;
specify storage time for report files and statistics.

Create report of scan and update tasks.
