Getting started:Follow the next 6 steps to correctly reset the license key for your Kaspersky product.
1. Disable Kaspersky's 'Self-Defense' feature. ^1
2. Exit (Close) your Kaspersky product.
3. Turn OFF Resetter’s ’Defense' option (optional). ^2
4. Press 'Start' to begin the resetting process.
5. Wait for Kaspersky to prompt you to activate.
6. Activate your product using the online method.
The location of Kaspersky's 'Self-Defense' may vary depending of what version of Kaspersky product you are using.
If the ’Defense’ option is OFF then Kaspersky's 'Self-Defense' feature will remain disabled – note that the default state is ON.
