Offensive Security Company today announced an updated version of the specialized distribution BackTrack 5 R3, built on Linux and designed for the study of information systems security.
In preparation for the release of the new platform, developers have focused on correcting the identified errors in the code and software solutions have focused on expanding the functionality and improve the stability of the complex. The distribution BackTrack 5 R3 includes more than 60 new tools, some of which were announced during the recent events on IT-Security BlackHat and DefCon 2012. Also added a new section of Physical Exploitation, which includes packages such as the Arduino IDE and Kautilya Teensy.
A key feature of BackTrack 5 R3 is an impressive collection of software and technical expertise and evaluation of computer systems security, systems and network infrastructures. With the release of BackTrack 5 isparvleny R3 made many bugs and added over 60 new programs, some of which were presented at a recent hacker conference Defcon and BlackHat 2012.
There was also an entirely new category of tools: the "physical exploits» (Physical Exploitation), which includes tools like the Arduino IDE and associated libraries, as well as a collection of Kautilya Teensy.
